I have the Tooth Faerie avatar and the Dr. Sloth random one. I still think RE avatars are stupid.
The best avatars are the ones that require skill (I'm proudest of my Meepit Juice Break one), or time (Illusen and Jhudora's quests, any equipped petpet one), or doing something clever (taking bread to the Volcano and getting the toast avatar; collecting orange items, codestones, or dung items) or good timing (the concert hall ones, deadly dice), or solving a puzzle (the temple of 1000 tombs, I saved Mystery Island), or fighting (Black Pteri, the exploding lupe), or winning a contest (Lenny C, Random Contest). Even some of the "luck" ones are okay -- because you know that if you finally land on 1000 on the Wheel of Excitement or your poogle wins in Poogle Racing, you'll get your avatar. I just think RE avatars are stupid. They require no skill, they're way too uncommon (how many people here have the snowager one or the treasure hunt one, seriously?), and they're just no fun.
I agree that they're not as bad as the ones that cause massive PB/morphing potion/Draik egg inflation, but that's another "whine."The Lost Tomb is also random on top of random. Hard enough winning a prize, but even if you get a prize, might not get the avatar.
That one is annoying. I was talking about the Temple of 1000 Tombs. That one rocked.

Edna, it varies way too much from person to person.
My friend took 3 quests, I've done over 500 without a result.
I've even heard stories up into the 1000's, that's about 350 times more.
Cellblock, again, it varies way too much. I'm on tourney 18, which requires skill to get there. The people who can follow a guide up to 6, then get the avatar. That annoys me. And when I display my avatar, it shows no difference in skill.
I think avatars like that should be fixed, say, when you view a gold Cellblock trophy, or your 100th Edna quest, or something like that.
I got this on the first try, and am happy for that.

Same here...the first day I played it I managed to win twice (under 60 sec.) but no avatar, and I haven't been able to win at all since. Although on one of the 2 times I won I actually got it in 40 some seconds and got on the high score board, though not enough for a trophy.
Edit: I finally managed to win one more time but still no avatar.

With this method I have won three times in less than 60 seconds over the last two days. Still no avatar. I had never won before. Ever!
