I think you did a very good job of word association. Although that is not where your clues would have led me. I was thinking of the second word in the phrase that came to mind, not the first.

EDIT: I confirmed it in an art program ;)
I don't get the blue clue.

And to be technical, it would be the posterior of 'The original literature study guide series' denoted, of a sound.

Hmm... the only place I can think of from the first clue doesn't seem to have the matching colors showing up. I'll have to keep looking.
