Well, at least they *tried* to make it morally correct by calling the guy a "Bank Robber". :roll: Though I agree....they might as well shout "Sell drugs to your teacher and get a free ipod!" or "Shoot your mailman and get a free ipod!" Bleh.

I'll say it yet again...

Having ads is ONE thing.

However, the ads they are using are sleazy, rotten ads of the type you see holding up some 2-bit fly-by-night website.

These are not the types of ads you'd expect to see a multi-million dollar enterprise based on family-oriented entertainment using.

Wrong, it's just wrong.

Next up: Casino and pr0n ads. -_-

Is it wrong to say that I'd like to shoot that darn fly ad? The first time I got it my sound was all the way up and it scared me to death! lol-- I have a cd burner and was ripping a cd when a buzzing sound started-------I about lost it -I thought I had ruined my cousins CD that I had borrowed :oops: All I can say is it really made my day lol!

Oh I saw a variation on that shoot it ad. It was a shoot the paparazzi ad with a cartoon image of Brad Pitt running and the guy with the camera chasing him. I didn't screenie it unfortunately. But I just sat and stared at it ... yeah, let's all go shoot someone. Maybe we'll get something for "free" if we do! Like 3 squares a day and a bed. Pay no attention to those bars or barbed wire :P

yeah here is a clip I took of it.. very bad ad.. It promoted bad things and it clicks and makes noise!

These free IPods ads are getting very lame. They think that by making it interactive, they can trick more small kids into wanting to click it for fun, which is true.

I wouldn't mind the adverts if they were actually kinda related or at least themed for little kids. The majority of users might be kids so why show adverts for Wine or cars.


Fair enough I'm old enough for these two but I wouldn't exactly do anything.




The worst ad I've seen was a German one... that's it... it was German on the .com website and I just got confused.

I remember reading a while back that some of the people on PPT (or was it the neoboards?) were joking around about advertising, saying that Neo was so full of it, that one day, they'd be advertsing cars and houses.

Even so 15+ isn't too bad for an ad like that is it? Everyone knows about that kinda thing by then, so it isn't really that shocking. It'l just give 15 year old boys something to snicker at, hee.

If it came with photos then I might think different though :o

It gets worse, I just saw this one now while heading to play a game. It actually said my city! (So I blocked it out.) I can't believe this, that's just unheard of. :x
