I highly doubt I'll make it to the MegaSuperb prize now, with less than 5 days left and I'll have to do around 22 AAA challenges! If only my IE wasn't so buggy and would do javascript or my Firefox would have loaded the games I would have at least done 10-15 challengs in these few past days after all the 8 challenges I already have done were all done in 2 days. (and that was like half a day each)

Frakking stupid Petpet Plunge.

Tried to play it the day it was released and it only loaded the background image on the splash page - the one of the skeith with the fish/shell thing? No buttons or anything showed up once the little bit of parchment with the bubbles circling the seashell went away.

I'm *really* feeling for the people who had problems with the katamari-type game, except at least they could beat Abigail. I can't even load the darn game!

I've tried it on Chrome, IE, and the FF I usually use and the result is the same. FF is the only program I have actively using memory, so I don't even think that ought to be a problem (I've read that Petpet Plunge runs slow if you have other programs open).

I had a similar problem with the Games Master Challenge last fall, when the buttons in the game wouldn't do anything except restart the background music (and then there'd be multiple strands of it playing at once). But at least with that, I could switch my language and play a non-ad game and still get the level 8 GMC trophy.

Grrr!

For people who are having trouble with Petpet Plunge i'd like to recommend this guide It's definitly not perfect, and they don't seem to be getting to all of the extra levels discussed in the Neopian times article about it. There are pictures though and it did help me to beat AAA's score, although that also took some luck and a good score on the bonus level.

I had a lot of trouble finding other guides for the game, probably since it's so new so i hope this helps someone.

I'm majorly behind in my challenegs at the moment. Off I go to get up to date brr.

Update: Up-to-date now. God bless Abigail and her easy-to-beat scores.

I still can't get past PPP level 2.
This is really upsetting - my petpet won't go quickly, it'll just stop in the middle even if I pull the arrow off the page - and then the recommended guide which shows what pixel to point to is useless. I've tried to turn the quality to lowest and putting my browser on highest resolution but it's still not working :(
Help please!

Try aiming slightly off one of the orange balloons. Once you get stuck towards the perimeter, aim to follow the diamond shape of the gems around (so try to bounce off the middle of the walls. If that doesn't work, just do a little arrow towards a corner (so that you can then follow the diamond shape). Hope either of these tips helps.

Thanks for that. Actually, I managed to use the guide properly on another, faster computer and it worked. Although my laptop is generally as fast with flash programs as my desktop, it turned out not to be the case this time.

So if your petpet is moving too slowly and you can't get it in one shot, try turning the effects off or finding a computer that can run the flash game more easily.

The bonus level really helped me get the score up to 651 so make sure you don't miss it!

Uh-oh... Lulu's prize seems to be glitched this morning. I beat her and went to deposit my prize into my SDB... but it never showed up in my inventory after claiming it. The game page shows that I claimed it... but I never received it. I notified TNT... hopefully they'll fix this up soon. Just wanted to warn everyone to be careful today.

Dubloon Disaster Tips:
1. If you don't get a silver or gold coin to start with, restart the game. (I was lucky enough to get a 500 coin at the start, and then another one about 10 coins later).

2. When you pick up a coin, stop on top of it. That way, if any new mines pop up, you don't run into them unless they appear right on top of you.

3. DON'T try and get the mines to crash into each other! As there are a limited amount of mines on the screen at one time, making them vanish will increase the likelyhood of a respawning mine popping into your path.

4. My tactic is to circle around the mines, making them come together in a loose grouping. Sometimes you may have to risk zapping between two mines to get them close enough to group, but not close enough to collide. Then when the coins appear on one side you can gather the mines on the other side, then zoom across. If the coin appears in the middle of the screen, circle around, then draw the mines into a corner or along the side.

Good luck!

Edit: For some people it's easier to crash the mines. Each to his own!

Regarding the Lulu prize: It's still IN your inventory, it's just invisible.

I'd like to second these two suggestions. Generally it's faster to just let the mines appear and "herd" them into a group, even though there may be times when it'll take a while to lure them away from a dubloon you need to get.

DOUBLE DARE
Hasee Bounce

AAA - 175
Prize: Doughnut Fruit Table
Abi - 30
Prize: Doughnut Fruit Hand Mirror
Lulu - 60
Prize: Doughnut Explosion Background

CODE:
Type doughnutfruit to reset timer.

Game tips:

Each letter when caught by the same coloured hasee is worth 2 seconds.

Each time HASEE is spelt out, you get 20 seconds, if it is the all in the same colour, you get 40 seconds on the timer.

If you catch more than 1 doughnutfruit in a row, the point values increase - the second doughnutfruit doubles in value, the third doughnutfruit's value is tripled.

Well today's double dare was easy, if you know the doughnutfruit code.
And the prize prices show it. No easy profit for me today. Oh well.

On a more positive note, the "please give me one million neopoints thank you hasees" code provides some entertainment. I didn't know about that one until today.

Hey, that was my guide! XD

Glad to see that it got around, I wanted to calm em down before their heads exploded. I mean, you buy a ticket, you want your shiny doohickey.

Anyway, back to playing Hasee Bounce. It'd also be a challenge for me if I didn't have that magical code.

Byakuya's New and Updated Scorecard of Score-ish-ness:

AAA wins: 12 Abigail wins: 10 Double Dare: 4/4

I honestly wouldn't have beaten the Petpet plunge score at all if I didn't have another computer that works runs slightly faster than my usual one. Honestly, that game shouldn't have been used because of how painfully slow and buggy it is on older computers.
