I thought group inflation was freezeable? Not that I mind it, personally I've never done it myself, nor do I see nothing "wrong" with it per se, but I do remember hearing that inflating any item as a group could get you iced from somewhere.....

I don't see why you'd want to do something like this? Okay, np. Yeah, I understand. But this just seems like a shady way to accomplish that. All I could see this doing is preventing some kids from getting a buzzer for their pets so they're left with even fewer low price starter petpets to choose from.

Yeah, maybe you'll make profits, but it's evil to others who want it and are saving up for it.

I dont really see anything wrong with it except maybe moraly, but there isnt anything really wrong with it, and it could be profitable.

Well, as others have said, I doubt one or two people could take a item that there's so many of and actually drive the cost up (at least not appreciably).

If you're a collector, that's a different thing. Like, I have a huggy "army", I just like to collect huggy petpets. But even at that, I only buy one or two a month, nothing crazy. (Would LOVE to see a Huggy petpet plushie made for Carlton Shops - that would make my day!)

Actually, during the summer when the MP avatar was released, me and the whole restocking chatroom on AIM drove up the prices of glamour neggs insanely after I brought up the fact that they could be used to acquire the common blue pteri morphing potion, which had, of course, risen to a price of over 40,000 neopoints. I lost quite a bit of money on that whole scheme, as I didn't know that unactivated accounts couldn't get those same morphing potions from glamour neggs ;)
