I know how you feel - I tried to sign up for the webmail service and it charged me three times without actually creating my account. I had to get a friend to call them in the USA, and they said they'd call me back, but they didn't.. Anyway I mailed the premium support people and got it sorted out eventually, but it really annoyed me :/

Wow, this is a new service, that people are paying for, and it's doing this already?!

It would make sense, if you do need to put in the country you're signing up from, to be directed to another page saying something like "sorry this service is only available in (list of countries) right now" ...

Why have people sign up, charge them real money (Holly, 3 TIMES?!) and then find out they can't even use it...grrr. That ISP service would be getting a piece of my mind.

Well I got a receipt that they have received and read my email, but that was 5 hours ago.......still no reply.........guess theyre pretty slow typers! Or maybe Im just too impatient!! :x

Not only the ISP, but Neopets as well, for signing up with such a "misleading" company in the first place. Why pay for poor service, when Neopets already provides it for free?

Yes, it wouldn't be too hard to cause the page to go to "Sorry, this service is unavailable for this area," page when it's out of country. Or get at least one number for most major countries... something.

I'm glad, Hollypop, that you at least finally got it straightened out. I'm afraid I'd have gone very bullistic if it had been me..


Amazing what one can come up with when one is given a cardboard box and a roll of duct-tape!
