neobuk's statement is like my saying that AOL should disappear because it wastes so many trial CDs that people just throw out (or use for archery practice like me :-D )

The reason it shouldn't disappear is because it is a service used by people, and works better than Windows does (i'm just assuming that..)
And last of all... AOL is not the devil...

TNT doesn't even care about Sponsers all that much. Most of the updates they do are FOR the people, ocansionally withi sponser thingies, which are sometimes cool. (Hasee bounce is the exact same thing as an old 101 dalmation game they had)

Because I routinely insult Neopets. And enjoy it too.

He's pointing out a genuine problem that there is a lack of realtionship between users and staff. He is saying that this is because they are favouring excessive marketing and milking their product until it becomes so diluted it is unrecognizable.

I don't see where the problem lies.

Agreed. And really, there are 20 million of us, and 100 of them. That's 1 person for ever 20,000 people. So if everybody wants a close relationship with the staff members, then that's totally impossible and out of the question.

comingtoatvnearyou, I think anti's remark was directed toward the ani-Neopets website that neobuks has been promoting in other threads. Yes, you might complain, as I have done on way more than one occasion, but I don't think that either of us wants Neopets to "die."

Oh completely in a green mint there (wait, go back, read it... there we go). It needs some kind of slap in the face so that the admin get a hint, but not shut down, packed up into little boxes filled with the S shaped styrofoam, duct taped and sent to Kalamazoo by UPS.

Again, though, only because we can recognize its potential and we want it to turn from a decent site with potential to a great site.
