However, I also take advantage of newbies by telling them they must go to the Remove Account page and put in their password in order for them to get a Fountain Faerie Quest. :)

LOL that is classic! A girl friend of mine here used to gladly give directions to anyone from "over the hill" (out of town, more specifically San Jose from Santa Cruz). She would politely direct them to the main street through town (Ocean Street) which would become "Route 1 North" and take them anywhere they wanted. Little did they know Route 1 North from Santa Cruz would take them one-way back to where they came from. :D

(Coming from the south one must enter by route 17 which becomes/is the 1 north, just named differently, to anyone confused why someone entering would not notice they are exiting by the same road, if unfamiliar.)

Think of it like "tough love" whilst encouraging people to get some brains.

Pfft, only 107 billion? Do I look like an amateur to you? ;)

I'd be willing to pay slightly higher than shop wizard prices if it meant I didn't have to log out of one account and log into another just to find the item.

Malls can also be helpful to people trying to accomplish a goal like filling out their Neodeck or reading a lot of books to their pet. It's much easier to buy everything you need from one place, so most people are willing to pay a little extra.

On the other hand, I personally try not to give malls my business. ;)

I always wonder who, exactly, are the major patrons of malls. Is it mostly newbies, or is it the neopian multibillionaires to whom the difference of a thousand or two is like pennies?

It would have to be newbies and morans...even billionaires would use the shop wizard as opposed to searching all the way through a mall. The item you searched for comes up in the box above the shop of course.

patrons are usually newbies... people on quests who need a quick fix... or "billionaires" who like the convenience.
