Maybe they don't care - they did invent the creature you know, if they want it to have wings from it's torso then fine. Just because your experiance of wings is very blinkered it doesn't mean they can't be creative.

They didnt really invent it...an Eyrie's just a gryphon, more or less. Yeah, they can put the wings wherever they feel like since its a 'Neopets gryphon,' but they do look a little awkward in the place they are now :/
And they dont look big or strong enough to support its body! If there is a revamp, I hope their wings get bigger.

Yes it may be similar to a Griffon, but its a Neopets interphretation. Also, have you ever seen any of the first drawings of Dragons? They had tiny wings, only made larger by people trying to place them into the rules of our world.

My point is - it doesn't matter. Even if it did exist would you say it looked dodgy because the wings were too small? I doubt it. Yet for some reason because it's a game it has to be feesable - even when the whole concept of Neopets is in everyway false.

Id simply prefer my Eyrie to have nice regal Gryphonesque wings, instead of little puny ones :P I believe it'd improve the overall image of the Eyrie to have them redrawn with the better proportions and style of its newer poses.

The Mutant Skeith is awesome! It kinda reminds me of the monster thing from Ghost Busters...

I was hoping the mutant skeith would go unreleased until they turned it into a tyrannian pet :/ I always wanted a mutant skeith, but I expected something weird, fat and gross, not a boring demon thing.

Edit/ if the mutant skeith's belly looked like its potion (transparent so you can see bubbling acid) it would be the coolest mutant ever and perfect for a skeith, since they're all about "eating".

Just because wings CAN be drawn wherever you want doesn't mean they should be. Wings coming out of the back just looks stupid. I can do nothing but ponder how awkward the skeleton must be.

Why oh WHY did crappy royalboy have to be a shopkeeper? Gawd, the suckness of it has ruined my eyes once again. >_<

None of the shopkeepers are that grand anyways. Like every pet day...there at least on flawed thing, eyrie day was the shopkeepers,a nd if you look at proportions...the BG image is bad,but still looks cool if you don't notice. XD

Eyries are half bird, and no bird I know has teeny wings sprouting out halfway down its back. I know it's a "Neopets creature" and they could draw the wings coming out of its butt if they wanted to -- it's still stupid-looking. And apparently they think so, too, as all their recent eyrie art has had the wings in the right place (or at least much closer). Example:

Also, the baby, faerie, plushie, maraquan, Royal and Darigan eyries (all the redraws) have proper wings in the proper place. I'm hoping they revamp the non-redraw poses to make the eyrie look like the grand creature it's supposed to be.

I was extremely underwhelmed by the shopkeepers. I, however, like the Faerie and Maraquan Eyrie. Maybe they were a little uninspired, but I think they are beautiful.

St georges dragon

if they want to fly, it can, if they want it to lead a vast army of Bori and destroy the bringer of night with a sling, it will.
please stop now, maybe?

Edit: semantics. :P

Plural for Bori is Bori....Boris is that Blumaroo from the meridell plot. >_>
Sorry, this is my habit for everyone that spells Bori wrong. *runs*

Faerie and Mara eyrie for the win, Pixa. My liking of Eyrie has grown since I saw how emotinal faerie eyrie acts.
Eyrie are suppose to be the prideful neopet...
