The story of gentle Fauna, who could tame the fiercest beast with her kindness and patience, soon travelled far and wide. Then, one day, a tall white Lupe knocked upon her door...

This would also indicate that we are going from the gatherer to the hunter!??

Personally, I think that we'll probably be going to the Protector next, and not the Hunter. I mean, most plots always throw in these not-twists, where the good guy's behind it, no?

Besides, most of the chapter [practically all x)] end with some reference to "that's how so-and-so met Altador", so I figure this is just another of those, and not actually saying that the next chapter'll be the Hunter's.

Personally when they said that it would be a few days for the president to return they were talking about their move and warning there would be a lull.

In fact I don't think there will be a clue until the webcam picture changes.

I would have to agree that the clue is not out yet. If it was, someone from PPT would have found it and posted something more than "The next clue is out."
I'm kind of glad that it's taking so long, though. I'm going to Russia in a week, for a week, so the Protector should come out before I go, and the Hunter after I come back!

I already found my Protetor constellation and my Hunter constellation in my telescope, I just need to find the clues that ables me to submit them.

The constellations positions change everytime a new clue/quest starts so when they are revealed they would've shifted

I agree. Moving is hard, and if you're not *all settled in* it would be hard to be "ready" to release a clue, if TNT isn't fully prepared for all after.

About the last line of the book so far, I thought that odd, too. Isn't King Altador a white Lupe? But it could be some other white Lupe anyway, as TNT loves to lead us on and then trick us!

I have also found both constellations in my telescope, and they use up the last of my colored stars, so even if they do move, i'll still know what to look for.

I thought that too last time.
Unfortunately, all the stars drifted and I ended up with a completely new map (except for the already found constellations ofcourse)

And I also agree, TNT's busy, they've had some technical difficulties too while moving, so we should all just sit patiently and wait. When something comes out, we'll most likely definately not be the last to know.

So far theories are nice, but some are getting rather... extraordinary

Is anyone else having a problem tabbing through the Altador map? I highlight the Title text on the page and then hit the tab key and end up on the return button on the second tab. I can go to another page like the Coliseum and can tab the entryways with no problems.

try clicking in a random spot on the actual map, then tabbing. that worked better for me.

I always assumed the book was referring to King Altador. The rest of the chapters end that way too, with the hero meeting Altador and becoming a part of his council.

I agree that the theories are getting quite extraordinary. I was on the boards today and saw someone's idea, get this........they think that for this particular constellation, we'll be looking for "something" at a particular time, kinda like the whole useless crystal-sunlight thing we had to do in the ldp. Now I know everyone believes that the janitor is giving us these right in your face clues, but why in the world would TNT use two different things we did or were supposed to do in the LDP for this plot, that's just redundant. My thoughts, they haven't released the clue yet, regardless of what people think. They are recouping from their move, and as soon as they're settled, they'll be getting right back into the plot, it'll more than likely be over before the end of the month. But that's my theory.

Well news is up and I am not clever enough to find much, except I noticed while poking around the *View from the Tomb* my formerly saved URL didn't work (redirected me back to the Tomb entrance). I check often and it was the same until now, so I wonder if there has been an update? I had to re-bookmark it by finding the pixel from the Entrance and it works fine again for now. Not sure if a new clue would be in that area or if that is even a fluke of an indication. Anyone else notice anything else unusual?

(And, no, I don't have any browser setting issues.)

(I even saved the Closet Room and the "2nd Archives room on the left" URLs and they haven't changed either; I can still get in but nothing is new.)

I always assumed the book was referring to King Altador. The rest of the chapters end that way too, with the hero meeting Altador and becoming a part of his council.

yeah, the all end with Altador wanting them or something "and the rest is history". the knocking-on-door thing is probably just TNT being dramatic and interesting.

I saw on the NP message boards the suggestion that the speckled building could be a clue. So I tried searching for the star pattern of the spots. I found a couple that looked similar and tried them, unconnected, in case the clue was finding those stars, but no luck.

I have an idea that they have the sequence of events released, but have made them inactive in order to let people catch up with the Gatherer. As for the free time, I can't stand it. I have a Tyrannian paint brush I can't get rid of, but I hope to trade it soon.
