Altador Plot (Split 48) READ THE FAQ!

Thinking back on all the plots I've worked on, TNT always seemed to slow down the release of new clues around transition points. I honestly think they just give themselves some leeway to make sure all the graphics design and coding is done in time for the next section. As wonderful as TNT is, it is made up of human beings and they can only draw so quickly and coding, even when done with supercool programs, is still a pain in the bum. Things would need to be double and triple checked because holes in a plot are no fun.

Then again, maybe I'm too zen about everything in general

Everyone is saying when the constellations should be realeased and such. Like, in the beginning, the plot was updated everyday (knowing altador was there, then getting the telescope, ect.)...then they lengthed it out a bit, to every second day for the first coupld of constellations....and then, if you noticed, they lengthed out the constellations to 2 constellations a week (in the past 3 constellations)...so maybe TNT has lengthed out the last constellations (and maybe the last bit of the plot) to one constellation a week, so the plot wouldnt be over so soon.

Logical thinking? Or me just rambling? You decide

I quite agree, chi_chi - I think so far, the only thing that we can assume about when/where/how TNT will release the next constellation is that we can assume nothing.

i made a map of the statues lit up, and the order they lit up in. i included the ones we haven't found yet, but fainter. anyway, while imageshack takes it's sweet time loading, here are my theories:
-gatherer will be found in petpet shop, maybe
-we need to gather something, tho i doubt it
-the clue will be really hard. they were easy until the gladiator, which took awhile, then the collecter was complicated, and then the thief maze in the archives. [sarcasm] so, a pattern seems to emerge: whenever we find a new clue, the plot gets a lot harder. hmmmmm.... [/sarcasm]

actually, the plot's getting WAY better. i hated the click...clue...find...club...click...it was boring. the maze and stuff really made it better. hopefully the gatherer will be even more fun! anyway, imageshack FINALLY loaded, so here goes:

Yes, it makes plently of sense. Who knows, since last week was the Theif, this week we will have the Gatherer, but, who knows when. It could be tonight, tomorrow, whenever, but soemtime this week.

People on the Neoboards need to remember that TNT have their own lives too, and that they don't have to update the plot to OUR needs.

As far as I know, I don't think a plot is supposed to be over in like a week (which a lot of new people to plots think)

Look at the LPD (even though I was not in it). The people who participated said it was a long plot, and that you had to be patient...so, what's different with the Altador plot? Nothing, other then it is a mini-plot, but we still need to be patient!

TNT *does* have their own lives, and maintaining the site should always come ahead of adding things like plot updates, etc.


Myself, I'm hoping that they've been busy trying to fix all the blank pages I've been getting - the refreshing is driving me mad! MAD I TELL YOU!

Although, who really knows just how "mini" this "mini-plot" is - many people have theorized that this just means that it won't have a war.

Yea, I've been getting a lot of blank pages too, and refreshing is getting annoying.

The thing TNT needs to do, before updating the plot, is attempt to fix some of the glitches around the site!

And yes, no one know exactly how mini this plot is. But, either way, good job TNT!

thanks to Makuta_Neodude I am going to post something that I think you may call a theory...ok well lets skip the long starting lecture Ok well the Betrayer ,who is (in this theory) The Darkest Faerie,had well..become the betrayer because the legends were very powerful and protected Altador and were all equally matched but then the Betrayer thinks with all her power she can take over there was conflict and lots of fighting for justice but then Altador got sealed in time and the legend except the darkest faerie were all turned to stone because the darkest faerie but they were sealed in time while the darkest faerie was (with the help of jerdanas orb and queen fyoras wand)turned to stone and thrown into the ocean.

What is Altador was hiden and lost all there memory after the Darkest Faerie insident, because Fyora actually wanted to start Altador all over again, on a clean slate.

Like, not having the residents know that there might be a horrible chance htat the Darkest Faerie could come back, or i dunno, now I'm just rambling on, lol

You can never be too zen about things.

There's a high likelihood that a new miniworld (or globe, fingers and toes crossed) will be revealed with the end of this plot, so TNT is no doubt stretching out the plot wrap-up just a little. Like silver_wolf2003 says there is so much unvolved with the release of new stuff, it's to their benefit (and ours) to take their time.

Today is the day for a new clue, probably...but then again, maybe not...XD Either way, we'll get there eventually...

I doubt it we got to Altador through her chambers, so it wouldnt make since to expose us to information just to hide it.
