The decorator has moved, anyone found him yet?

Anyone know where the ID is? Can't seem to find him.

We need to find where the Interior Decorator has moved to again. No longer on the 3rd floor where He/She was.

Oh my, that's certainly a lot easier! :D

You know, I must be a moron, cuz none of these things are woking for me. The clearing chalk lines, not going to the ID, whatever. I must be the stupidest *^%#^@!!

Can anyone tell me what the EXACt trisk is to these things? Is it luck? Is it that I have a Mac?

Duh

It is ALWAYS because you have a MAC....

but really.. we don't know exactly we are all still trying to figure it out. The clearing of chalk lines doesn't seem to work for a lot of people. I managed to set a table on a smeared lined spot and then placed a lamp on the first floor without talking to the ID...but then when I ran in with a scroll rack and placed it on the first floor normal line I got kicked out for placing it on the wrong floor (guessing because I didn't talk to the ID) so we aren't sure what is science and what is guessing at this point. So far the only sure fire way is to grab and hunt for the ID then place in a clear line.

So do I have to see the ID before placing the furniture or not? And if so, wher is he?

Unique to Users?

Seems like different things work for different users, and are inconsistent.

Find out what works for YOU and do that as often as you can. It appears that we are all goverened by 1) different rules, or 2) no rules (random).

The decorator is NOT on the 5th or 4th floors. I haven't searched the whole 3rd yet.

Count?

Sat Oct 08, 2005 8:04 pm

Honestly, how many of you HAVE to go to the ID first? I don't. Can we all try that and see?

Sat Oct 08, 2005 8:06 pm

I do. My guess is that you're lucky and the ID would have assigned you to the first floor.

Therefore when you try to place something on the first floor it lets you. I know I got first floor placement for a long time...

As for smudged or not, you might be getting lucky with the time. But that's a little doubtful... hrmm...

You might be able to "guess" where it goes ... but you basically have a 1 in 6 chance.

I got yelled at last night trying to place a scroll rack before talking to the ID.

I cant move at all, Im trying to get out to get a 2nd piece of furniture and all the squares I need to move onto turned to chalk, and Im stuck there surrounded by chalky squares.

How do I get out?

EDIT: Its ok, I had to wait till the chalk lines went solid, so I could move again.... UGHH this takes ages to get another piece... LOL

I find it hard to believe that I am the only, or one of very few, "lucky" ones, but I suppose it is probable. ;)
