Yay! Lando! Like Turk, I'm a Lando fan.

The US doesn't use some of its oil since it is not the right type for fuel. Eg. the oil off of Cambira, Big Sur, Cayucus, and Moro Bay is only good for asphalt and is shipped to Japan, China, and Russia since they are big on making roads. We need the oil shale from Canada and the Plains states to make up our fuel reserves.

Interesting choice of Mewtwo. He is one of the oddest balanced characters in the game (but still better than Zelda, or any of the Marios, or the very slow Ganon) :P

Round 32

I had a pretty bad day today. When you study half the material for a test, expect to get only half of the test right. Same goes for when you study for one test, but not another. So I'm feeling a little upset right now.

Story as of now:
Quite an unusual back and forth. No real victims have emerged. The Link-s are beaten, but still fighting. The arena shifts to a busy street. The Stage has shifted. Onett is crawling with bad drivers (just like I-5). Watch your step.

Simple Attack format:[Character A] attacks [Character B] for-3 damage’ [Do not forget the bold.]

Judging by the current standings and which attacks I have lined up for tomorrow, Link will be dead by the end of next round.

Two last notes: Roy can't deflect cars and will get hit if not attacked, and there is still tons of fun trivia and images to be found.

I'll take your word for it. (I would have prefered the measure in kilometers since I don't know these 'miles' you speak of). As we can all surmise from that number, Hector and Noah are potentially buried near each other. (I really wanted an answer to this one. Thanks).

Christopher wrote:Dragoon gives jump

I asked for the character, not the class (PS: Dragoon is one of my favorite classes in Final Fantasy). There are more than one characters. Can you name them all.

Christopher wrote:Abydos, Osirus, Ra and Aphophis

Yay! Another Stargater. The Abydos-Osiris is easily found, but it takes work to know Ra and Apep. Too bad Anubis killed Skaara and destroyed the planet  (This was going to be made a 2 point question and has been in postmortem).

Christopher wrote:Roy uses Counter

Roy has to be attacked for Counter to take effect. You have to trick someone else to save Roy :P

I have no idea either, I think they are some sort of counter used by archaic nomads based on the relation of the number of buffalo that can be stuffed into a phone box.

:roflol: I really bug all of my family when I use metric. All the other physicists I know do to. It is much easier to work in base ten. Meters, kilograms, joules, and eV are the best measurements in the world.

You know what is horrible though, having to convert from mks to cgs units, or to mixed units. I have to do that for my nuclei & particles course, then you get messed up units like gauss, barn, esu, dyne...etc. Horrible.

(yea you can argue that esu's make E&M formulas look nicer, but they are still horrible)

As for my move:
Gannon uses gerudo dragon to do -4 damage to falco

Fri Mar 03, 2006 4:26 pm

Mewtwo uses Confusion on Sheik for -2 damage

Fri Mar 03, 2006 5:08 pm

How the heck is Link surviving? :o

I mean, I thought his odds of surviving this round were no bigger than a barn! (Continuing our battle of the units :P ) Just the specials alone were enough to kill him. Oh well, you walked right into my plan/hope. You'll see what it is at the start of next round  (PS: It doesn't break or bend the rules so no fears of me cheating :P )
