New Admin
Written by: Nessa
We saw it coming, the inevitable couldn't be put off. Jim was going to leave, and we were going to have to find a replacement. I'd just like to take a moment to speak about Jim before moving on with this article. Jim was our head honcho for three years- if we had a major issue on PPT, we went to him. If we had a question about what was okay and no one else seemed to have an answer, we went to him. We made up preposterous rumors about him and various other female (and sometimes male) staff members. He was the butt of many well-loved jokes and when we got out of line, he made sure we knew it wasn't okay. Good luck to you Jim! We miss you and hope that all is good in your life.
With Jim's departure, there was only one thing that could happen. We would need a new administrator. Now I don't know who all applied, and no offense meant to any of the other staff of course, but I am very pleased with the choice that was made.
Congratulations to Jasujo!
We're very excited to have you in red and can't wait to see what you've got in store for us.
Matterbug, Twizzler0171, Rachel, NeoPet_online, and PuddingofEvil all PMed me to be interviewed for this article, here’s what they had to say.
Do you feel that Jasujo was a good choice?
:Matterbug:
I think Jas was a very good choice for admin. She has a lot of experience modding, she's one of the kindest people I've ever met, and she loves to help people. I don't think they could have picked anyone better.
::Twizzler0171::
Of course! She really cares for PPT, and I know she'll work to the best the best of her abilities and do her hardest to keep it as great as it is, and perhaps make it even better.
:::Rachel:::
Absolutely, she is very passionate about what she does on PPT- and Divas [usergroup run by Jasujo] is proof to that. I can’t see her doing anything other than the same for the rest of the forums!
::::NeoPet_online::::
Oh totally! She's an amazing person, I remember waaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day, before the great reset, when she joined. She was so full of energy, and she still is..
:::::PuddingofEvil:::::
Definitely. Sometimes, it's just obvious that a staff member should be an administrator.
What's one thing you're excited about the prospect of?
:Matterbug:
I'm excited to see what kind of things she'll do. She's very creative, so I think she may bring some new ideas and changes that can help PPT in a positive way.
::Twizzler0171::
She'll probably bring in loads of new contests and games, which will be way fun! Plus, she's great at lots of things, so she'll probably bring in some more insight on how to make the site better than it is now.
:::Rachel:::
I’m excited to hear about these new plans they keep hinting about!
:::::PuddingofEvil:::::
It's always interesting to see the changes that a new admin will bring. I'm sure she'll come up with some interesting and fun things for the forum.
Do you think she'll be able to fill Jim's shoes, or has she brought her own?
:Matterbug:
I think Jas is pretty different from Jim. Jim was awesome, but Jas is too. I think she'll do great as an admin and I'm sure she's brought her own shoes. Probably Nikes.
::Twizzler0171::
Pfft, she's bought her own, definitely. She has loads more fashion sense than Jim... and I doubt she'd look good in his shoes anyway. :P
:::Rachel:::
Hopefully she will have bought her own. It would be a bit tricky trying to be an admin on the forum with shoes far too big!
::::NeoPet_online::::
Well everyone is different, and everyone has their own way of doing things. Jim had his way and Jas will and has her own way of doing things, so I wouldn't think she's replacing him in anyway. So, I think she brought her own XD.
:::::PuddingofEvil:::::
Oh, she's clearly brought her own, and they're lovely.
Thanks to Matterbug, Twizzler0171, Rachel, NeoPet_online, and PuddingofEvil for their time and input, it’s very appreciated. Also congratulations once again Jasujo, right now we’re experiencing what you’re capable of with the Halloween event, and I will take the liberty to say that we picked the right woman for the job.
‘Til next time - nessa
