Ice Cream Machine Guide

The Ice Cream Factory is one of those games where you can get some pretty easy Neopoints. But before I go on to some of the tips and tricks I use to be successful in this game, let's get on with the game's facts:

Payout: 10 Neopoints for every 100 points you get

Max Neopoints Receivable: 1000, which basically means you need to get 10,000 points

In this game you must control Adee with the mouse, and try and avoid the ice cream scoops coming from the cones at the bottom of the screen. Move left, right, up and down - but if you hit the Ice Cream you lose a life. In the beginning, you start with 3 lives, but as you go on to higher levels you get bonuses that may increase your life.

Some of these bonuses are:

*The Strawberry Bomb

Will clear all the scoops from the screen. Useful when the scoops overwhelm you.

*Scoop Shield

Will protect you for a limited amount of time. This will disappear if you get hit or take another bonus icon.

*Large Adee

Will make your character bigger-the most useless bonus of all. Avoid getting this bonus as you will get hit more easily.

*Small Adee

Will make your character smaller. This bonus is most useful because you can squeeze into tight spots more easily.

*Fast scoops

A green colored scoop with a plus sign on it-makes the scoops go faster. This bonus is more useful in the beginning when the scoops are very slow (speed them up to get NPs faster). This scoop stacks with another scoop of the same kind (example: 2 fast scoops= 2x faster).

*Slow scoops

A red colored scoop with a negative sign on it-another useful scoop later on in the game where the scoops are harder to dodge. This scoop stacks with another scoop of the same kind (example: 2 slow scoops= 2x slower).

*Cherry bonus

A scoop with a cherry in it. Gives extra 100 points or 10 Neopoints.

*Fish bonus

A fish shaped scoop. Gives 250 points or 25 Neopoints.

*Life bonus

A heart shaped, colored pink scoop. Gives you 1 additional life.

Stage Quotas: (lvl/sccops name/scoop number)

*Basically you get an additional 25 scoops you need to dodge every round, as well as getting faster every round.

Lvl 1 (Strawberry) = 25

Lvl 2 (Vanilla) = 50

Lvl 3 (Chocolate) = 75

Lvl 4 (Mint) = 100

Lvl 5 (Blueberry) = 125

Lvl 6 (Vanilla chocolate chip) =150

Lvl 7 (Strawberry Vanilla Chocolate) =175

Lvl 8 (Peach) = 200

Lvl 9 (Vanilla Chocolate Swirl) = 225

Lvl 10(Double Chocolate) = 250

Lvl 11(Tigersquash) = 275

General Tips:

1. Grab the fast scoops in the beginning of the game. This will speed up the process of getting NPs.

2. Grab slow scoops in the later part of the game. Prevents you from losing a life.

3. Pick the small Adee over the large Adee bonus. In this game the adage "bigger is better" doesn't ring true. You will just be a huge target for the scoops.

4. Get the life, fish and cherry bonus, but don't trade a life in doing so. If it's too far and you got a bunch of scoops covering your way, just leave it. If not, get it.

5. Have Adee placed on the least bombarded area. Less scoops coming at you, less chances of you losing a life.

My personal best is only 9150. And with practice you can do the same, probably and most likely more. So imagine even if you get 5000 points every game, that's 500 NPs every game! x3 tries that's 1500np!! So keep at it and have fun.
