PPT Gallery Spotlight

Sometimes one of the most frustrating things for a Neopian to do would be to start a gallery. Depending on the theme of the gallery it can be eternally frustrating, and extremely expensive! Decorating, learning HTML, picking out backgrounds, making graphics... all of it is included with the organizing, choosing, buying, haggling and upgrading of a gallery. That's why so many people have respect for those gallery owners, especially those with unique galleries or a lot of items. So starts PI's own PPT Gallery Spotlight! The box gallery of Apricus!

Apricus' gallery seems simple at first, but it's beautiful in it's simplicity. The background accents the gallery and doesn't get in the way at all. There are quite a few items in the gallery, all with a box themed, as well as our ever-faithful Pink Poogle Toy sitting down at the bottom! If you'd like to see the gallery it's located here.

1. So tell me, what exactly is your gallery theme?

'Tis about boxes (well, and other things that have the word "box" in them.)

2. What exactly inspired you to start a gallery?

Hmmm…well, I remember that just after my box obsession truly began, the prize for one of the Mystery Pic contests was a Spring Kass in a Box. I was so thrilled with it (me and my easily amused-ness), so I set out to win the Mystery Pic and get it (and I succeeded!) That was my very first box item. When I searched for other box-like items on Neopets, I discovered how many there were, and made it my goal to get all of them and complete my gallery.

3. How long have you had your gallery?

Not sure, exactly... probably since around October of last year.

4. Are you close to completion? If not, how many more things do you have to go?

It's not complete just yet; I have about 14 more things to go. Sadly, I think it might be quite a while until I get those, considering how expensive some of them are.

5. What is the one item for your gallery that you wish you had?

Hubrid's Puzzle Box. It's unbuyable, but it's so shiny. @_@

6. Anything additional you'd like to add?

I have the utmost respect for anyone else that's got a gallery they're working on. Man, tracking all of that stuff down, especially the more rare items, is hard work.
