Neopian News Flash!

Hello This is Xil, filling in for Teddymon, who has fallen and cannot get up.

These past two weeks in Neopia have been fast paced and action packed! Early in the week (Jan 31st) we see the release of two new paint colours for korbats! The Royal Paint Brush colouring both pets in a fetching Greek/Roman toga (GO RUNANITES). It was later reported that those Korbats who obtained the Royal make-over continually whined about their fan servants being too slow, and their grape bowls not being refilled fast enough.

In other pet colours news, We saw the release of the Maraquan Gelert, and a Christmas Lenny and Bori.

On Friday the 3rd, all of Neopia grimaced {REJOICED}* as they saw that the day was officially dedicated to the evilest(?) {prettiest, and lets not forget purplest}* faerie in all of neopia... JHUDORA! Jhudora's favorite petpet, Bartamus, appeared in a striking new line up of colours, as well as in the Caption Contest! Jhudora's avatar also became available over the weekend, to anybody who didn't get it again this year--HAHA! In related news, the missing Illusen has been found! She was found tied up behind a cardboard cut out of...herself! As to why she was tied up, Illusen had this to say: "That wicked faerie, SHE WILL PAY".

In BATTLEDOME news, the new challenger that is attacking Neopia is non other than the giant Slug Thing guarding the once proud city of Maraqua. Defeat him and receive a rather snazzy trophy!

The news was randomly dedicated to the Snicklebeast on Wednesday, a new avatar was released to go with the day, it can be attained by equipping the Snicklebeat and waiting (60 days or so). It is recommended that you grab a nice tea and some biscuits, as it can take awhile.

Much to the appeasement of my Super Editor, Spiralethe, it appears that the Flaming Wuzzle can now be equipped as a petpet, so Spira, can I have my lunch now?
