Page deletion
I will be deleting this page for the following reasons:
- I intend to uphold Jacbo's 2008 decision here to discontinue using the spoiler template.
- Essentially any information about Neopets whatsoever can be construed as a spoiler in some sense.
- If someone has gone to the trouble to look up 'William of Normandy' in an encyclopaedia, they're going to want to know that he conquered Britain in 1066 and aren't going to be disappointed that the encyclopaedia has robbed them of the opportunity to be surprised by it at a later date. If a reader does not want to know what happened in the HaTIC plot they should not be reading the plot summary section of that article.
- This page says "we warn users [of spoilers]" - which is demonstrably untrue.*
- This 'policy' page was made by a non-sysop user (User:Journey to the Lost Isle-er) without any sysop input or discussion of any kind.
- In the interests of full disclosure, I have just now removed the one use of the revived spoiler template from Neopets Puzzle Adventure. --Macbeth 19:58, 13 August 2011 (CDT)
