just to note the [[:Category:Games|games]] category shouldn't be placed on individual games such as [[Whack-A-Kass]], but with sub categories such as [[:Category:Action Games|action games]] and [[:Category:Puzzle Games|puzzle games]]. I've noticed that when you're reverting [[User:Hagrid835]]'s vandalism, you tend to revert and delete dozens of pages at the same, and then for 5 minutes or so nothing happens, and then the pages get reverted/deleted again. The '''National Neopian Bank''' (commonly just ''The National Neopian''), based in [[Neopia Central]], is the only bank in [[Neopia]]. A financial institution, the National Neopian can store some or all of a user's [[Neopoints]] and keep them safe from [[random events]]. The National Neopian provides interest on the funds a user has invested in their account, an annual rate based on the account type (which itself depends on the size of the investment) which must be collected by the user daily.

When a user signs up for a bank account, they are also entitled to the use of a [[Safety Deposit Box]], in which they may store items instead of in their inventory, in order to keep them safe.

Users were able to acquire loans from [http://www.neopets.com/newfeatures/mar2000.phtml 21st March 2000], with repayments begining to be debited from the 23rd March 2000. Loans were removed, as they were being abused by users, on [http://www.neopets.com/newfeatures/may2000.phtml 20th May 2000], and since then National Neopian has not offered any lending facilities - in the form of [[wikipedia:overdrafts|overdrafts]], [[wikipedia:loans|loans]], or [[wikipedia:mortgages|mortgages]] - to users. An [[wikipedia:opt-in|opt-in]] [[wikipedia:PIN|PIN]] system, to protect a user's savings in the event another person accesses their account, was implemented on [http://www.neopets.com/nf.phtml?nf_date=2006-02-06 8th February 2006]. ==Interest==

Annual interest is calculate based on the account balance time the interest rate for the account type. This sum is divide by 365 (rounded up) to give a daily total for how much interest can be collected. Users must actively collect the daily interest manually, by clicking the ''Collect Interest'' button, which adds the interest directly into the account balance. If the user deposits or withdraws NeoPoints before collecting interest, it is forfeit for that day.

Interest is always calculated based on the current balance of a user's account - hence, as more neopoints are added (either deposited or collected as interest) or withdrawn, the amount of interest earned each day also changes.

An interest rate is fixed for an account type. To upgrade an account to an account that pays more (or less) interest, a minimum balance must be reached. However, an account's balance can drop below this minimum amount after the account type is set to it without the account needing to be downgraded.

This continued until Wizzle got hungry, and he walked up to the Jelly Chia licking his lips. Suddenly realising what was going to happen, the Jelly Chia launched himself at Wizzle in desperation, slowly dissolving him. Nobody ever saw Wizzle again after that day.

If you look carefully at the old, disused chocolate factory on the hill, you may still be able to find the lonely Jelly Chia bouncing around looking for new play things, and still hear Wizzle's screams.

Tyrannia's [[Altador Cup|Yooyuball]] team, the "Forsaken Five" was a assembled a few years before 2006 from a group made almost entirely of players whose original teams had given up on them. After a series of trades and waiver wire acquisitions, Tyrannia began to transform its motley bunch of castoffs into a selfless squad of warriors. Driven by a desire to show everyone how wrong they were to write them off, Tyrannia's "Forsaken Five" have gone on to become one of the most successful Yooyuball teams.

After their defeat in the first round playoff by [[Roo Island]] in 2006, many expected Tyrannia to retool their lineup in 2007. Rather than act on this, Tyrannia's managers believed they were simply unlucky, due to the fact it was hard to imagine anyone defeating Roo Island was playing at that time. They kept the tight knit "Forsaken Five" together, believing it would be a horrible mistake to break up one of the best Yooyuball teams in Neopia over a single playoff loss. However, their minds may change after the 2007 season.

Living amongst the stars, the '''Space Faerie''' protects [[Neopia]] from threats from the depths of space, such as [[Dr. Frank Sloth]]. She very rarely visits the surface of Neopia, and will only do so in the case of an utmost emergency.

Among other acts of courage and compassion, she saved the [[Grundo]]s from Dr. Sloth, and they subsequently became a regular species of [[Neopet]] with their own Adopt-a-Grundo section of the [[Virtupets Space Station]]. She is also featured as the mascot of [[Neopets Premium]].

She is featured in a very rare [[Faerie Quest]], which raises the level of one of the user's [[Neopets]] by 4 levels.

The Space Faerie was instrumental to the plot. It began when she received a mysterious, coded message from the depths of space, and an overwhelming sense of evil. She made a rallying call to the population to be prepared, and her prophecy quickly came true as the massive bulk of the Space Station briefly eclipsed the sun.

After the message was decoded by the [[Island Mystic]] using many newly-released [[Codestone]]s, revealing Dr. Sloth's true plan to mutate all the population of Neopia to enslave the planet, the Space Faerie gathered Neopians to scour the lands to find supplies to ready a space fleet at the Launch Pad.

The Space Faerie made a personal assault on the [[Space Station]], seeking to liberate the [[Grundo]]s that had been captured for Sloth's experiments. He had anticipated this and manage to capture her. Her struggles weakened her, and she was only barely able to send a broadcast to Neopia, requesting that the population adopt as many Grundos as possible. Doing so helped her regain her power.

Users managed to adopted the 20,000 needed Grundos just in time: as Dr Sloth fired his orbital mutation ray gun down to the planet, the Space Faerie blasted her way out of imprisonment and intercepted the mutagenic beam. To Sloth's disbelief, the faerie managed to divert the beam back into the weapon, which overloaded. The resulting explosion demolished the weapon, and Dr. Sloth went missing until the [[Lost Desert Plot]].

The Space Faerie returned to the stars, and left the abandoned Space Station in orbit for Neopians to repopulate.

The item is only good for one use and, after, the magic will be used up and the item will become a simple ''Green Kiko Plushie''. The magical plushies look identical to the non-magical plushie of the same type.

Both Gelerts #5 and #2 officially won (although the joke design, #3, actually had the most votes) so the two designs were combined and the final version (released on [http://www.neopets.com/nf.phtml?nf_date=2001-11-26 29th November 2001]) has not changed since.

==About the Gelert==
The Gelert is a distant cousin to the [[Lupe]] and are the embodiment of all that is fun and goofy.

They are joyous creatures, with a love of anyone and everything. If you are suffering from a long day at work, there is nothing better than coming home to a Gelert, who will do anything possible to make your day a happier day.

Legend and myth have been written about the brave deeds of Gelerts and such stories have made Gelerts a household name. If anything, their love of children make them excellent baby sitters. ==The Grave of the Greyhound==
The Gelert is said to be based on the dog in the poem 'The Grave of the Greyhound' or 'Beth Gelert', where a greyhound, called Gelert, was slain by his master when he discovered the dog, covered in blood, at his infant's cradle. It later turned out that the blood was not of the master's son but that of a wolf who had tried to kill the boy, and that Gelert had really been protecting his master's heir.
