'''Faerieland''' is a magical floating kingdom that sits upon a gigantic cloud located 10,000 feet above the surface of [[Neopia]]. It is the homeland of the [[Faerie|faeries]] and is ruled by [[Fyora]], the Faerie Queen. When Faerieland was first released, users could only enter if they had a special Faerie Totem [[item]]. This requirement was quickly dropped however, and today users do not need a totem to enter Faerieland.

Following the events of [[The Faerie's Ruin]] plot, the kingdom is now under repairs after it had crashed into the surface of Neopia. It is residing east of the [[Haunted Woods]]

Brynn was sent to [[Faerieland]] to investigate the crisis involving the petrification of the Faeries. Although surprised to see the thief Hanso at the scene of the crime, she asked the other with her to hear his story. She was upset once she learned he was part of the problem when he stole some magic items from a scholar named [[Xandra]], and sold one of them to [[Hubrid Nox]].

Inside Castle Nox, Brynn caught up with Hanso, who snuck in a secret passage to find Nox. The villain escaped, at which point, Brynn had accused Hanso of letting him go. They soon put their argument on hold and used a nearby control panel to liberate the heroes.

During her return to Brightvale, she reluctantly imprisoned Hanso in the castle dungeon while finding a means to save Faerieland. She came across a rare book she lent to Hanso before shadowy creatures stormed the city walls. She was captured by the creatures and was taken to a cave outside Brightvale. She, Xandra, and Hanso helped the captives within and escaped the cave. Seeing a map in the book, they traveled to an old ruin where they found an artefact, similar to the one Hanso stole from Xandra.

They reunited with King Altador and the others in the Haunted Woods, where Brynn informed the king with grim news that the crisis has transcended beyond Faerieland and was affecting Neopia.

She and Hanso helped Xandra with the spell that they hoped would save the Faeries. Instead, she and Hanso were horrified to learn the spell had petrified their allies. Worst of all, they found out that Xandra was responsible for everything that had happened, including the Faeries' plight and the floating kingdom's crash into the ground. Brynn was reprimanded by Xandra that "not everything is as black and white" as she believes, and that the Faeries had to be dealt with "for the good of Neopia". She and Hanso were given an offer to help Xandra "rebuild" Neopia, but she immediately refused. However, despite her effort to convince Hanso to help her stop the mad witch, she was shocked to see Hanso seemingly accept.

Much to Brynn's surprise, however, Hanso swiped the small artefact from Xandra before he tossed it to Brynn, telling her to destroy. She hesitated in the confusion, giving Xandra enough time to try to summon the artefact back. Hanso grabbed it before telling Brynn to run, while the enraged Xweetok follows suit.

She finally learned that Hanso has come up with a desperate plan to stop Xandra, but hears that she won't like the result. While he dealt with the witch, she faced a summoned giant Wraith until Hanso made his move. Oblivion was wiped out and the skies cleared. However, the Kougra knight was shocked to see the end result Hanso warned her about, as both he and Xandra were turned to stone

Thanks to a recovered Fyora, however, Hanso was freed from the effect. Brynn kissed him on the cheek, glad to see he was okay.

He has powerful skills in the dark arts, though his nature is not as malicious as that of his father. He is over 200 years old due to a curse placed on him and all of his people by his own father who wanted to gain immortality and supreme power. He is accompanied by his faithful Uni friend, [[Nightsteed|The Nightsteed]]. He was the first antagonist in the Lost Desert Plot.

Jazan was tricked into unleashing his father by a false prophecy, telling him that if he married a Sakhmet princess, the curse would be lifted. He at first tried to get princess [[Amira]] to marry him (although they both did not love each other at all) before resorting to terrorizing her kingdom, but when [[Nabile]] was revealed to be a princess too and much more openhearted towards him, he married her instead.

The curse was not lifted however, and he eventually sent her back to Sakhmet City, hoping she'd be happier there. After her departure, he severely weakened from lack of food and sorrow.

When his father, [[Razul]], later went to destroy Sakhmet, Jazan felt Nabile to be in danger and went to find her. He met his father, but was not able to stand up to him. Nabile, however, caught the attack on him, and seeing her nearly dead angered Jazan so much that it gave him more power, enough to defeat Razul.

Jazan is one of the heroes besides [[King Altador]] who have been investigating the crisis in [[Faerieland]], where all of the [[Faeries]] were turned to stone. During this time, he had been keeping a close eye on [[Hanso]], who was at the scene of the crime, and is the first to suspect him of any wrongdoing. He was turned to stone, along with his allies, thanks to [[Xandra]]'s betrayal. However, they were freed from the spell after Hanso and Brynn foiled the Xweetok witch's plan to rule Neopia.

When the plot first began it was unclear if Hanso was a villain or not, as he was at the Faerie Festival after the Faeries were turned to stone. He was busy trying to steal anything valuable from the party until, he ran into King Altator, two guards (a [[Skeith]] and a [[Draik)]], a Brightvale [[Kougra]] knight named Brynn (an old "acquaintance" of Hanso), and King [[Jazan]] (who was watching the thief). He revealed that a [[Chia]] named [[Hubrid Nox]] was responsible, who used a strange "artefact" which activated the spell. However, his initial statement had been a half-truth, as he later admitted selling the artefact to (what was thought to be) Hubrid Nox after stealing it from a [[Xweetok]] named [[Xandra]].

While hunting down Nox, Hanso snuck away from the group and found his way into Castle Nox. He confronted the Chia about the stolen artefact, but the villain denied ever coming across it before he escaped. Hanso and Brynn later used the castle's control board, which triggered all the trap doors, to help the other trapped heroes escape. However, he was quickly accused of being in league with Nox as he was the first to go in, before Nox got out.

After a horde of shadowy creatures attacked them, they decided to split up. Altador, Jazan, and the Skeith and Draik soldiers would get the monsters attention, while Brynn and Hanso would go into Brightvale. The Ixi thief was soon jailed while Brynn would find the means of the real problem: Faerieland's sudden descent from the skies. Hanso was given a strange book containing an image of an artefact larger than the one he stole. When he noticed that the shadow creatures have invaded the town, he was able to escape and help Brynn. The Kougra knight told him to find Altador and give him the book. Instead, Hanso followed the creatures who captured Brynn, infiltrated the cave she was held in, and helped her, Xandra, and some imprisoned Neopians escape the confines.

When Xandra found a map within the book, the thief recognized it as one of his former guild's old hideouts. Inside, however, they ran into more of the dark creatures. Luckily, Brynn was able to take them down, while Xandra and Hanso found the second artefact.

Reuniting with the other heroes, they all banded together to help the Xweetok witch activate a spell that would hope to undo the curse of the Faeries. Instead, she used that very curse to petrify everyone, except for Hanso and Brynn.

It was revealed that this was actually Xandra, disguised as Hubrid Nox, who Hanso had sold the artefact to. With both in hand, she was able to resume her plan to turn the Faeries to stone and take control over Neopia. After explaining her motives, the witch offered them a chance to help her regime. When Brynn refused, Xandra explained to the Hanso that he could be treated as a hero instead of a thief. Hanso was thought to have decided to side with Xandra in creating a new Neopia, seemingly under the impression that Brynn would always see him as a thief. Immediately, however, he steals the smaller artefact and flees with Brynn, while Xandra is on their tail.

He only hinted at Brynn that he had a plan that could stop the witch's goals once and for all, but she won't like it. While Brynn dealt with a giant wraith, Hanso distracted Xandra with insults while using the small artefact to absorb her attacks. In once desperate gamble, he destroyed the overflowing artefact. The explosive light cleared the darkened skies and destroyed the Wraith, but while Xandra was ironically turned to stone, so was he.

Thankfully, Fyora, who was restored from her stone imprisonment with her faerie allies, arrived and free the thief.

Long ago, Xandra, a powerful witch and scholar, was brought up by the Faeries because of her magical potential. For years, she spent time studying with them in Faerieland. However, she wished they could be more involved in the affairs of Neopia using their great power. Her pleas fell on deaf ears. Believing that the Faeries may be too arrogant for their own good, she plotted to rid Neopia of what she saw as "winged tyrants".

Some time later at her home in the Haunted Woods, her plan was on the verge of fruition, until a thief named [[Hanso]] stole some of her belongings. Disguising herself as [[Hubrid Nox]], she managed to buy back the item she needed, a mirror-like artefact, in time for the Faerie Festival. Using a petrification spell, she had turned all of the Faeries into stone.

She pretended to help investigate the crisis when she was called upon by King Altador. During this time, she exposed Hanso as the one who stole some of her items, who in turn had sold one of them to "Nox". While the others were tracking down the real Nox, Xandra took him out while impersonating him.

Later, Xandra was captured by shadowy creatures that were later revealed to be side-effects of the petrification spell. She escaped from a cave with Hanso and [[Brynn]], and together, they found a second artefact similar to the first one inside an old ruin, which was hoped to reverse the spell.

Instead, the two artefacts only augmented Xandra's powers, which she used to turn everyone (except for Hanso and Brynn) to stone. Without the Faeries' power, Faerieland crashed into the ground of Neopia as a fallen symbol of power. With her true motives revealed, Xandra vowed to lead her future supporters to rebuild Neopia with her as its new ruler. She offered Hanso and Brynn the opportunity to join her new regime; the latter flat-out refused, but the former seemingly accepted.

However, she is quickly betrayed when Hanso swipes one of the two artefact and dashes off with Brynn. Enraged, the witch called forth a giant Wraith to kill Brynn while she attacked Hanso. Before she could catch him however, the thief destroyed the small artefact, foiling her plan to rule Neopia, and turning her to stone.

They traveled to the Lost Desert together, where they entered an unknown tomb laden with traps. Hannah was then hit with a strange curse and was left for dead, while Kanrik and a couple of his comrades carried anything they could find; in this case, a coffin. Later, in Terror Mountain, [[Masila]] coaxed the Gelert into opening the coffin and use whatever was in there to overthrowing Galem. At first reluctant in betraying his leader, he went against his better judgment and released a creature from the coffin, the [[Bringer of Night]]. After a clash between the creature's army and his guild, Kanrik was banished from the guild. He was then knocked out with a poisonous liquid by Masila, and tossed into a random spot in Terror Mountain.

He soon ran into Hannah and [[Armin|a mysterious Neopet]] and, after a brief clash of their own, offered to make up for his past transgressions and join them in stopping his old guild and the monster's army. They ran into Armin's species, the [[Bori]], who helped them push back the guild. After the Bringer of Night was finally killed, Kanrik and Armin carried Hannah to the top of the mountain where [[an Ice Faerie|Taelia]] was able to lift the curse and save Hannah's life.

Kanrik eventually separated with the Usul, and was last seen taking Galem's place as the new leader of the Thieves Guild.

When he found an [[adventurous Usul|Hannah]] telling her tales of daring do, he made up a story of "his sister and his village" suffering a strange illness and needing a way to save them. They traveled to the Lost Desert, where they entered an unknown tomb laden with traps. Hannah was then hit with a strange curse and was left for dead, while Kanrik and a couple of his comrades carried anything they could find; in this case, a coffin. Later, in Terror Mountain, [[Masila]] coaxed the Gelert into opening the coffin and use whatever was in there to overthrowing Galem. At first reluctant in betraying his leader, he went against his better judgment and released a creature from the coffin, [[The Bringer of Night]]. After a clash between the creature's army and his guild, Kanrik was banished from the guild. He was then knocked out with a poisonous liquid by Masila, and tossed into a random spot in Terror Mountain.

He soon ran into Hannah and [[a mysterious Neopet|Armin]] and, after a brief clash of their own, offered to make up for his past transgressions and join them in stopping his old guild and the monster's army. They ran into Armin's species, the [[Bori]], who helped them push back the guild. After the Bringer of Night was finally killed, Kanrik and Armin carried Hannah to the top of the mountain where [[an Ice Faerie|Taelia]] was able to lift the curse and save Hannah's life.

Kanrik eventually separated with the Usual, and was last seen taking Galem's place as the new leader of the Thieves Guild.

At the bottom of the sea in [[Maraqua]], the statue of [[The Darkest Faerie]] cracks open when Jerdana's Orb falls over her neck, causing a thunderstorm to erupt above the once calm waters. In the farmlands of Meridell, Tormund and his sister play a make believe fight between [[Jeran]] and [[Lord Darigan]], Tormund being Jeran and his sister Darigan (both wearing respective masks). Play time is over when Tormund accidentally releases all the [[Whinny]]s escape from their pen. Tormund herds the [[Whinny]]s back into the pen, once done his Mum calls him over to get some water for her plants, at the pump Tor is filling the water when it breaks down. He goes back to his mum and hands her the water. After this Tor's father wants Tor to talk to him in the house. When he gets there Tor's Father said that he would have to deliver a package. Tor thinks he is going to deliver it to Farmer Addison, but his father said he has to deliver it to the Knight Recruitment Centre in Meridell, the place Tor has been wanting to go for all his life.

Before reaching Meridell, Tor saves a mysterious begger named Kell, who gives him an amulet. Once he reaches Meridell, the box his father gave him to be delivered to Meridell is mugged by [[Heermeedjet and Meerouladen]]. Tor has to chase them until they get to a dead end alley, and manages to get the box back with the help of a mysterious knight. Once you are at the Knight Recruitment Centre, Tor gives the box to the knight at the table. After that the knight asks Tor if he wants to be a knight, which Tor gladly say yes. The knight tells Tor that he needs to see a signature from a sponsor.

Sir Torak usually sponsors anyone, he usually is at the bar when he isn't working for [[King Skarl]]. When [[Tor]] talks to Sir Torak he says that his sword is broken and won't sign anything. So [[Tor]] has to find all the sword pieces and bring them to the Meridell Armory to get the pieces back to together. When he does this Torak signs his papers. Tor then needs premission from his parents to become a knight. Upon returning home, Tor discovers his sister is lost in shadowglen woods. After saving her, Tor ia allowed to become a knight. At the castle, Torak teaches Tor skills with a sword. After completing several chores, Tor must save a mountain village called cogham, from ixi raiders. Upon returning to the castle, Tor is knighted. After that, a messenger from Illusen tells Skarl of dark clouds over illusen's glade and that the Werelupe King has attacked Illusen. Tor must then save illusens's glade from the werelupe king. After beating the red four-armed werelupe Gnarfas, Illusen tells Tor of the Darkest Faerie's plot and telling him to warn king Skarl before Getting possessed by the Darkest Faerie and exclaiming "This land is mine!" and kicking Tor from her home in the trees.

Tormund immediately returns to Meridell Castle. However, when he gets there, he finds that King Skarl is already being controlled by The Darkest Faerie. He hears her talking to her sisters about her revenge plans. The Darkest Faerie Sisters notice Tormund and chase after him. Tormund tries to harm them, but they are invincible. Tormund has no choice but to flee the castle using its sewer system.

===Act 2===
[[Roberta]] and [[Seradar]] arrive at [[Faerieland]] to speak with Fyora about the dark clouds gathered over Meridell. However, she can't see them just yet. So, Seradar makes due in the royal library while Roberta is asked by a old Aisha to get a Harris out of a tree (the old woman will turn out to be Jerdana in Act 4). After that you'll have a choice of doing side missions, exploring [[Faerieland]].

Eventually, bad things start to happen to Faerieland as they happened to Meridell. The Darkest Faerie appears and ties up Fyora, preventing her from helping Roberta. Roberta finds her torturing the same old woman she helped earlier. Distracting The Darkest Faerie with a bell, she is able to rescue her. She is able to escape from The Darkest Faerie but is knocked off her flying Uni and falls.

===Act 3===
Tormund arrives at a beach just as Roberta falls to the same location. After saving a few towns from the Darkest Faerie, and fighting the Gelert Assassin a few times, they then try to get Illusen's charm back from the Werelupe King. [[Sophie]] told Tormund and Roberta about a charm that would allow you to gain access to the Werelupes' cave which was buried with the last person who tried to go in the Werelupes' cave for the Werelupes' treasure. Tormund and Roberta find the charm and access the cave, but Roberta is captured by the Werelupes. Tormund defeats the Werelupe King and frees her. He attempts to give the charm to Illusen, but the Gelert Assassin interferes. With help from his family, Tormund and Roberta are able to rescue Illusen after a final battle with the Gelert Assassin. After retrieving Fyora's Rod from a skeletal Draik, they confront the [[Dark Faerie Sisters]], remove their invulnerability, and defeat them, returning Meridell to normal. They then go to give the rod to Fyora, but it is a trap set up by the Darkest Faerie. Fyora is able to break free and tell them about a teleporter that will take them to Altador before being placed in a bottle. Tormund and Roberta take the teleporter to Altador.

===Act 4===
Tor and Roberta awaken in Altador after being forced into a teleporter in Faerieland Castle by the Darkest Faerie. They meet King Altador and he tells them that they must awaken the four heroes within their shrines. Once this is accomplished, Tor and Roberta head deep in the Hall of Heroes secret passageway to awaken Jerdana and the other heros. Once they are awakened, Tor and Roberta are able to return to Faerieland to take on the Darkest Faerie in a final battle as she sends Faerieland plummeting down towards Meridell with Fyora's Rod. They defeat her and reimprison her into the stone, freeing Fyora in the process and ending the threat of The Darkest Faerie hopefully for good...

During her return to Brightvale, she reluctantly imprisoned Hanso in the castle dungeon while finding a means to save Faerieland. She came across a rare book she lent to Hanso before shadowy creatures stormed the city walls. She was captured by the creatures and was taken to a cave outside Brightvale. Seeing a map in the book, they traveled to an old ruin where they found an artefact, similar to the one Hanso stole from Xandra.

Long ago, Xandra, a powerful witch and scholar, was brought up by the Faeries because of her magical potential. For years, she spent time studying with them in Faerieland. However, she wished they could be more involved in the affairs of Neopia using their great power. Her pleas fell on deaf ears. Believing that the Faeries may be too arrogant for their own good, she plotted to rid Neopia of what she saw as "winged tyrants".

Some time later at her home in the Haunted Woods, her plan was on the verge of fruition, until a thief named [[Hanso]] stole some of her belongings. Disguising herself as [[Hubrid Nox]], she managed to buy back the item she needed, a mirror-like artefact, in time for the Faerie Festival. Using a petrification spell, she had turned all of the Faeries into stone.

She pretended to help investigate the crisis when she was called upon by King Altador. During this time, she exposed Hanso as the one who stole some of her items, who in turn had sold one of them to "Nox". While the others were tracking down the real Nox, Xandra took him out while impersonating him.

Later, Xandra was captured by shadowy creatures that were later revealed to be side-effects of the petrification spell. She escaped from a cave with Hanso and [[Brynn]], and together, they found a second artefact similar to the first one inside an old ruin, which was hoped to reverse the spell.

Instead, the two artefacts only augmented Xandra's powers, which she used to turn everyone (except for Hanso and Brynn) to stone. Without the Faeries' power, Faerieland crashed into the ground of Neopia as a fallen symbol of power. With her true motives revealed, Xandra vowed to lead her future supporters to rebuild Neopia with her as its new ruler. She offered Hanso and Brynn the opportunity to join her new regime; the latter flat-out refused, but the former seemingly accepted.

However, she is quickly betrayed when Hanso swipes one of the two artefact and dashes off with Brynn. Enraged, the witch called forth a giant Wraith to kill Brynn while she attacked Hanso. Before she could catch him however, the thief destroys the small artefact, which turned both of them into stone.

When the plot first began it was unclear if Hanso was a villain or not, as he was at the Faerie Festival after the Faeries were turned to stone. He was busy trying to steal anything valuable from the party until, he ran into King Altator, two guards (a [[Skeith]] and a [[Draik)]], a Brightvale [[Kougra]] knight named Brynn (an old "acquaintance" of Hanso), and King [[Jazan]] (who was watching the thief). He revealed that a [[Chia]] named [[Hubrid Nox]] was responsible, who used a strange "artefact" which activated the spell. However, his initial statement had been a half-truth, as he later admitted selling the artefact to (what was thought to be) Hubrid Nox after stealing it from a [[Xweetok]] named [[Xandra]].

While hunting down Nox, Hanso snuck away from the group and found his way into Castle Nox. He confronted the Chia about the stolen artefact, but the villain denied ever coming across it before he escaped. Hanso and Brynn later used the castle's control board, which triggered all the trap doors, to help the other trapped heroes escape. However, he was quickly accused of being in league with Nox as he was the first to go in, before Nox got out.

After a horde of shadowy creatures attacked them, they decided to split up. Altador, Jazan, and the Skeith and Draik soldiers would get the monsters attention, while Brynn and Hanso would go into Brightvale. The Ixi thief was soon jailed while Brynn would find the means of the real problem: Faerieland's sudden descent from the skies. Hanso was given a strange book containing an image of an artefact larger than the one he stole. When he noticed that the shadow creatures have invaded the town, he was able to escape and help Brynn. The Kougra knight told him to find Altador and give him the book. Instead, Hanso followed the creatures who captured Brynn, infiltrated the cave she was held in, and helped her, Xandra, and some imprisoned Neopians escape the confines.

When Xandra found a map within the book, the thief recognized it as one of his former guild's old hideouts. Inside, however, they ran into more of the dark creatures. Luckily, Brynn was able to take them down, while Xandra and Hanso found the second artefact.

Reuniting with the other heroes, they all banded together to help the Xweetok witch activate a spell that would hope to undo the curse of the Faeries. Instead, she used that very curse to petrify everyone, except for Hanso and Brynn.

It was revealed that this was actually Xandra, disguised as Hubrid Nox, who Hanso had sold the artefact to. With both in hand, she was able to resume her plan to turn the Faeries to stone and take control over Neopia. After explaining her motives, the witch offered them a chance to help her regime. When Brynn refused, Xandra explained to the Hanso that he could be treated as a hero instead of a thief. Hanso was thought to have decided to side with Xandra in creating a new Neopia, seemingly under the impression that Brynn would always see him as a thief. Immediately, however, he steals the smaller artefact and flees with Brynn, while Xandra is on their tail.

He only hinted at Brynn that he had a plan that could stop the witch's goals once and for all, but she won't like it. While Brynn dealt with a giant wraith, Hanso distracted Xandra with insults while using the small artefact to absorb her attacks. In once desperate gamble, he destroyed the overflowing artefact. The explosive light cleared the darkened skies and destroyed the Wraith, but while Xandra was ironically turned to stone, so was he...

Long ago, Xandra, a powerful witch and scholar, was brought up by the Faeries because of her magical potential. For years, she spent time studying with them in Faerieland. However, she wished they could be more involved in the affairs of Neopia using their great power. Her pleas fell on deaf ears. Believing that the Faeries may be too arrogant for their own good, she plotted to rid Neopia of what she saw as "winged tyrants".

Some time later at her home in the Haunted Woods, her plan was on the verge of fruition, until a thief named [[Hanso]] stole some of her belongings. Disguising herself as [[Hubrid Nox]], she managed to buy back the item she needed, a mirror-like artefact, in time for the Faerie Festival. Using a petrification spell, she had turned all of the Faeries into stone.

She pretended to help investigate the crisis when she was called upon by King Altador. During this time, she exposed Hanso as the one who stole some of her items, who in turn had sold one of them to "Nox". While the others were tracking down the real Nox, Xandra took him out while impersonating him.

Later, Xandra was captured by shadowy creatures that were later revealed to be side-effects of the petrification spell. She escaped from a cave with Hanso and [[Brynn]], and together, they found a second artefact similar to the first one inside an old ruin, which was hoped to reverse the spell.

Instead, the two artefacts only augmented Xandra's powers, which she used to turn everyone (except for Hanso and Brynn) to stone. Without the Faeries' power, Faerieland crashed into the ground of Neopia as a fallen symbol of power. With her true motives revealed, Xandra vowed to lead her future supporters to rebuild Neopia with her as its new ruler. She offered Hanso and Brynn the opportunity to join her new regime; the latter flat-out refused, but the former seemingly accepted.

However, she is quickly betrayed when Hanso swipes one of the two artefact and dashes off with Brynn. Enraged, the witch called forth a giant Wraith to kill Brynn while she attacked Hanso. Before she could catch him however, the Thief destroys the small artefact, which turned both of them into stone.

In the farmlands of Meridell, Tormund and his sister play a make believe fight between [[Jeran]] and [[Lord Darigan]], Tormund being Jeran and his sister Darigan (both wearing respective masks). Play time is over when Tormund accidentally releases all the [[Whinny]]s escape from their pen. Tormund herds the [[Whinny]]s back into the pen, once done his Mum calls him over to get some water for her plants, at the pump Tor is filling the water when it breaks down. He goes back to his mum and hands her the water. After this Tor's father wants Tor to talk to him in the house. When he gets there Tor's Father said that he would have to deliver a package. Tor thinks he is going to deliver it to Farmer Addison, but his father said he has to deliver it to the Knight Recruitment Centre in Meridell, the place Tor has been wanting to go for all his life.

Before reaching Meridell, Tor saves a mysterious begger named Kell, who gives him an amulet. Once he reaches Meridell, the box his father gave him to be delivered to Meridell is mugged by [[Heermeedjet and Meerouladen]]. Tor has to chase them until they get to a dead end alley, and manages to get the box back with the help of a mysterious knight. Once you are at the Knight Recruitment Centre, Tor gives the box to the knight at the table. After that the knight asks Tor if he wants to be a knight, which Tor gladly say yes. The knight tells Tor that he needs to see a signature from a sponsor.

Sir Torak usually sponsors anyone, he usually is at the bar when he isn't working for [[King Skarl]]. When [[Tor]] talks to Sir Torak he says that his sword is broken and won't sign anything. So [[Tor]] has to find all the sword pieces and bring them to the Meridell Armory to get the pieces back to together. When he does this Torak signs his papers. Tor then needs premission from his parents to become a knight. Upon returning home, Tor discovers his sister is lost in shadowglen woods. After saving her, Tor ia allowed to become a knight. At the castle, Torak teaches Tor skills with a sword. After completing several chores, Tor must save a mountain village called cogham, from ixi raiders. Upon returning to the castle, Tor is knighted. After that, a messenger from Illusen tells Skarl of dark clouds over illusen's glade and that the Werelupe King has attacked Illusen. Tor must then save illusens's glade from the werelupe king. After beating the red four-armed werelupe Gnarfas, Illusen tells Tor of the Darkest Faerie's plot and telling him to warn king Skarl before Getting possessed by the Darkest Faerie and exclaiming "This land is mine!" and kicking Tor from her home in the trees.

Tormund immediately returns to Meridell Castle. However, when he gets there, he finds that King Skarl is already being controlled by The Darkest Faerie. He hears her talking to her sisters about her revenge plans. The Darkest Faerie Sisters notice Tormund and chase after him. Tormund tries to harm them, but they are invincible. Tormund has no choice but to flee the castle using its sewer system.

[[Roberta]] and [[Seradar]] arrive at [[Faerieland]] to speak with Fyora about the dark clouds gathered over Meridell. However, she can't see them just yet. So, Seradar makes due in the royal library while Roberta is asked by a old Aisha to get a Harris out of a tree (the old woman will turn out to be Jerdana in Act 4). After that you'll have a choice of doing side missions, exploring [[Faerieland]].

Eventually, bad things start to happen to Faerieland as they happened to Meridell. The Darkest Faerie appears and ties up Fyora, preventing her from helping Roberta. Roberta finds her torturing the same old woman she helped earlier. Distracting The Darkest Faerie with a bell, she is able to rescue her. She is able to escape from The Darkest Faerie but is knocked off her flying Uni and falls.

===Act 3===
Tormund arrives at a beach just as Roberta falls to the same location. After saving a few towns from the Darkest Faerie, and fighting the Gelert Assassin a few times, they then try to get Illusen's charm back from the Werelupe King. [[Sophie]] told Tormund and Roberta about a charm that would allow you to gain access to the Werelupes' cave which was buried with the last person who tried to go in the Werelupes' cave for the Werelupes' treasure. Tormund and Roberta find the charm and access the cave, but Roberta is captured by the Werelupes. Tormund defeats the Werelupe King and frees her. He attempts to give the charm to Illusen, but the Gelert Assassin interferes. With help from his family, Tormund and Roberta are able to rescue Illusen after a final battle with the Gelert Assassin. After retrieving Fyora's Rod from a skeletal Draik, they confront the [[Dark Faerie Sisters]], remove their invulnerability, and defeat them, returning Meridell to normal. They then go to give the rod to Fyora, but it is a trap set up by the Darkest Faerie. Fyora is able to break free and tell them about a teleporter that will take them to Altador before being placed in a bottle. Tormund and Roberta take the teleporter to Altador.

===Act 4===
Tor and Roberta awaken in Altador after being forced into a teleporter in Faerieland Castle by the Darkest Faerie. They meet King Altador and he tells them that they must awaken the four heroes within their shrines. Once this is accomplished, Tor and Roberta head deep in the Hall of Heroes secret passageway to awaken Jerdana and the other heros. Once they are awakened, Tor and Roberta are able to return to Faerieland to take on the Darkest Faerie in a final battle as she sends Faerieland plummeting down towards Meridell with Fyora's Rod. They defeat her and reimprison her into the stone, freeing Fyora in the process and ending the threat of The Darkest Faerie hopefully for good...

==Plot summary==
The story of Maraqua centers around a Usul named [[Garin]], who is the captain of a fierce pirate ship with his first mate and also best friend since childhood, a red Kyrii named [[Jacques]]. His life is full of plunder and adventure, and he lives with hardly a care until after he and his crew rob a wedding. This provokes the rage of [[Captain Scarblade]], terror and master of the Five Seas of Neopia. Scarblade seeks out the Black Pawkeet to extract his revenge.

Meanwhile, beneath the sea, a Maraquan Aisha by the name of [[Isca]], whom Garin knows from only a brief glimpse of her during his childhood, dreams this. Isca and [[Caylis]], Maraquan sisters who were orphaned, were recovered by King Kelpbeard while he was looking for survivors after the attack on Old Maraqua. Upon bringing them into his court, it is discovered that Isca has the ability to foretell things in her dreams that greatly aid the citizens of Maraqua. Caylis later begins to be tormented by nightmares of disasters that always come true. The citizens of Maraqua, believed Caylis was the cause of these, and Kelpbeard was forced to exile her. After Isca dreams of seeing Garin, the Usul of her childhood, in grave danger, she ascends from the depths of Maraqua to the surface. This is breaking the law of King Kelpbeard, who decreed that none were to mingle with the "surface-folk."

On board the Pawkeet, a fight rages between the pirates of the Black Pawkeet, and those of The Revenge, the ship captained by Scarblade. Jacques insists that they must abandon ship, for their forces are outnumbered. While Jacques is making his way to the skiff, Garin is knocked out and sent plummeting to the waves below. In his effort to reach his unconscious friend, Jacques's skiff is destroyed, and [[The Drenched]] take him as prisoner.

Isca saves Garin and takes him to New Maraqua, where he discovers the amazing underwater city and steals a dagger from there, made out of Maractite ore. Once he is recovered, he returns to the surface in hopes of finding information about Jacques and his crew. He finds one crew working at a local pub and began relaying his time in New Maraqua, not know that a member of Scarblade's crew had overheard the conversation and left to inform the captain.

Below sea level, Isca dreams of Jacques, captive of the Drenched, and she returns to tell Garin of this. Garin and Isca plummet below and travel to the caves of the three witch sisters of the sea, otherwise known as The Drenched, live. A struggle ensues, and Garin and Isca rise victorious with Jacques having been rescued, with some help from a wandering sea monster. Garin promised Isca after being prompted by Jacques, that he will help her with her new visions of a danger approaching New Maraqua.

Garin and Jaques were abducted later to a remote island where they are reunited with the Black Pawkeet crew. Escaping from the prison, they re-commandeered their ship and head out to prevent Scarblade's invasion of the underwater city. However, when Garin (along with Caylis whom he found on the way) returned to warn the king of the upcoming invasion, Kelpbeard blamed him for likely leading the evil pirates right to their doorstep, and sentenced him to imprisonment. Believing Isca for helping Garin, as well as breaking the decree many times, he banished her along with her sister.

As the war began, Garin escaped from the guards to find the Aisha sisters and soon his crew, and help turn the tide in the battle. Kelpbeard entered the fray as well, facing off against Scarblade himself. With his crew overwhelmed, Scarblade called a retreat, vowing to one day return. New Maraqua was victorious, preventing the same fate of the old kingdom.

With his trust in the surface-folk restored, Kelpbeard made Garin's crew honorary citizens, and lifted the exile of Isca and Caylis as redemption for his misjudgments. While the former accepted, and latter decided she grew more comfortable with the outside world. Garin returned to his crew, rather preferring the pirate life over Isca's offer for a life of luxury, and sailed for more adventure.

==User participation==
Users were given the option to help Maraqua or the pirates during the attack in two ways. One form of participation, ''Battler'', involved fighting against Maraqua or the pirates in the [[Battledome]]. The other, ''Supporter'' involved acquiring certain items to assist the battlers, and playing Maraquan themed games to acquire points

Those who joined Maraqua fought the pirates, and vice versa. Also, depending on the strength of the users selected Neopet (which was the only one which could fight in the war), only certain ranked opponents would award the user with points. Opponents could be fought an infinite number of times, but with each in the opponent became progressively stronger.

Prizes were released on June 14, 2005. The total points players collected from defeating opponents in the [[Battledome]] were spent in the ''Curse of Maraqua War Prize Shop'', where 6 items were available to be bought, all 6 different depending on who users fought for. A 7th item was available for both sides, the Maraquan [[Sidebar]]. Four exclusive [[Avatar]]s were also released, only one of which could be acquired depending what the user did during the war.

'''King Kelpbeard''' is a ruler of [[New Maraqua]]. During the Old Maraqua era, the pirates were angered at King Kelpbeard for standing up for Maraqua and against [[Captain Scarblade]]. The pirates attacked and Maraqua was destroyed, and its people scattered.

Years later, King Kelpbeard oversaw the rebuilding of a new city in a secret location. King Kelpbeard became old and wiser, and organized armies to protect New Maraqua and prevented surface dwellers to discover the location. He also ordered the people to not interact with those of the surface, believing it was for the better.

King Kelpbeard is a 53 year old male and he is a [[Blue]] [[Koi]]. His quote is "Never trust the surface-dwellers." His duties are to renovate Maraqua and guiding and protecting his citizens.

King Kelpbeard is not the original king of the plot [[Curse of Maraqua]] but he is a noble leader to the free people of Maraqua. He was the war boss for the Neopets who sided with the pirates. Despite his somewhat unassuming appearance, he is not a foe to be underestimated, having 100,000 health points when faced in the Battledome.

After an attack against his old kingdom by Captain Scarblade many years ago, Kelpbeard made a royal decree during the rise of New Maraqua that forbade any of his people from interacting with surface-dwellers. Sometime during the reconstruction, he brought in two orphaned Aisha: [[Isca]] and [[Caylis]]; each having abilities of foreseeing good visions and bad omens, respectively. He was forced to banish Cylis after the kingdom's people began harassing her for her omens coming true.

New Maraqua was discovered after [[Garin]] left the kingdom, letting his gossip of the city inadvertently reached to the ears of one of Captain Scarblade's crewmates, who in turn passed it on to the captain himself. When Garin returned to warn the kingdom, Kelpbeard blamed him for the war that would take place and sentenced him to be imprisoned in the deep dungeons. He even went as far as to banish Isca, who had broken the king's decree many times and temporarily housed Garin.

When he discovered the Maraquans were losing, he donned his battle armor and began fighting himself. King Kelpbeard (who fought Captain Scarblade himself) and his army had the strength to defend their kingdom (with little help from all of Neopia). It was with the help of Garin (who had escaped) and his crew, as well as the two Aisha sisters he exiled (with their giant petpet Gorgeas), that turned the tide of battle and defeated Scarblade's crew. With his trust in Surface-Dwellers restored, he allowed Garin's crew as honorary citizens. He soon lifted the ban of Isca and Caylis as an apology for his misjudgments (the latter, however, decided to stay outside the kingdom).

A 7th item was available for both sides, the Maraquan [[Sidebar]]. Four exclusive [[Avatar]]s were also released, only one of which could be acquired depending what the user did during the war.

The '''Lost Desert Plot''' ran from August 30th through November 29th, 2005. This puzzle [[Plot]] revolved around [[Tomos]], [[Nabile]], [[Jazan]] and [[Amira|Princess Amira]], all new characters to the world of Neopia.

The Neopets Lost Desert Plot was one of the more comprehensive plots [[Neopets]] had ever released. Not only were the puzzles difficult, it is the first time Neopets implemented a plot which required people to actively participate if they wanted to progress. The large '''Temple of 1,000 Tombs''', unique to each user and requiring extensive mapping, as well as the enormously large '''Scroll Repository''' brought on a phenomenon known as '''OLDPD''' (Obsessive Lost Desert Plot Disorder).

During the beginning, most of the participants barely left their computers for fear of missing out on an important event that would possibly exclude them out of the plot; this would not be the case, however.

Extremely long waiting times, sometimes weeks long, drove Neopets’ users crazy with anticipation for new clues and/or parts to be released that would allow them to continue. This, combined with increasingly harder tasks sometimes taking 5-6 hours to complete, eventually weeded out most of those who had been there from the start.

[[The Neopets Team]] portrayed the marriage of Jazan and Nabile as the end of the plot.

On November 29, 2005, the real ending was released. This second ending, involving the return and defeat of [[Razul]], tied up several loose ends and tied in the end of the puzzle part of the plot.

==The Plot==

{{cq|...a thriving town in an ancient and timeless land. Sakhmet is home to exotic [[Petpet]]s, amazing foods, and some of the best entertainers in the land.

But the best thing of all is the Royal Palace, where Princess Amira is watching over everything.

Far from the Royal Palace, the streets of Sakhmet are full of beggars, scoundrels, and villains, including a wily gang of street urchins known as the Desert Scarabs.

One thing about Sakhmet, you can never guarantee it's a dull place, where unexpected visitors can come at any time.}}

===Marriage Proposal===
A mysterious noble named Prince Jazan entered [[Sakhmet]], full of confidence. He introduces himself as Prince Jazan the Fourth to the guards of the Royal Palace, and asks to visit Princess Amira. The guards say that only visitors with an appointment may see Amira. Jazan shows the guards a fake appointment, and they let him pass. Jazan then gives a few coins to the guards.

When Jazan enters the Great Hall, he introduces himself as the ruler of [[Qasala]] to Amira. Jazan shows a scroll of betrothal, then asks for marriage, which Amira sternly declines. He soon leaves the palace, angered by the princess's refusal.

As the Prince rode away, two members of the [[Desert Scarabs]] (a group of thieves in Sakhmet city), [[Tomos]] and [[Nabile]], followed him with the hope of scoring some treasure. They tailed the Prince to the ruins of a long dead city. With nothing to show for their travels, Nabile and Tomos returned to Sakhmet.

Meanwhile in the Royal Palace, Amira was informed by [[Enarka]], her Shoyru adviser, about the aforementioned kingdom of Qasala. While the kingdom did exist once, it was destroyed after a deadly sandstorm 200 years ago. They both concluded that with no record relating to Jazan, he would be believed to be an imposter.

Soon after, Princess Amira prepared to make a grand speech to her people. Jazan returned to the city, and Nabile and Tomos hid on the path outside of Sakhmet to ambush him when he left. Jazan interrupted Amira's announcement, once more asking for her hand in marriage. When Amira declined once more, Jazan was thrown into a rage and summoned up a great magical force that teleported the entire city to an alternate dimension where undead creatures roamed.

Tomos and Nabile made their way back to the ruins of Qasala. There, they were attacked by the [[Nightsteed]], a mummified [[Uni]], and narrowly avoided death by falling into a pit.

===The Scroll Repository===
In side the mysterious dimension, Amira was left with an ultimatum by Jazan: Marry him, or watch her kingdom fall by the princes' undead creatures. For now, her subjects in the palace and the citizens (even the rest of the Desert Scarabs) outside have managed to hold their own against the creatures, discovering that attacking them with blunt weapons can easily topple them. However, Jazan decided to summon a [[Scordrax]], giant two-headed [[Scorchio]], to counter the attack. With no options left, Amira reluctanly agrees to marry him.

Meanwhile, the duo braved through a few deadly traps before finding an ancient library. soon discovered the tombs of ancient Qasala, and Nabile set about trying to translate the Qasalan hieroglyphs. She discovered that Qasala had been struck down with a horrible curse, and that only true love, by Jazan's marriage to a Princess of Sakhmet, would lift it.

As Nabile continued to find out more about the curse, Tomos messed a strange ring which teleported the two of them back to Sakhmet. The two are captured and seperated as the preparations of the wedding were underway.

During the wedding ceremony, Nabile arrived, interrupting and explaining that the marriage would not break the curse, as neither party loved the other. As she explained, Amira's adviser makes a startling discovery based on a picture behind the young Ixi: Nabile was actually a descendant of [[Princess Neera]], a Sakhmetian Princess whose status was stripped by her own father after loving in love with a commoner. This revelation made Nabile a princess herself.

Discovering her lost heritage, Nabile agreed to marry Jazan in Amira's place, having learned to love him. With the marriage complete, Sakhmet returned to the desert, and the couple set out back to Qasala.

===Razul===
Some time afterwards, Jazan's heart was mended and his and Nabile's love blossomed. However, they soon discovered that the curse had not been broken. Refusing to have such a lively person stuck in such a dead and dismal place, Jazan convinced Nabile to return to Sakhmet. She reluctantly agreed, but not before promising to search for an answer. Heartbroken, the prince refused to eat, slowly weakening in the process.

It wasn't long before an unnatural storm descended upon Sakhmet, and [[Emperor Razul]], Jazan's undead father, arrived to lay waste to the city. Claiming to have been freed from his imprisonment by the marriage, he effortlessly destroyed the Sakhmet army. Sensing Nabile was in danger, Jazan set off at full speed to the city.

The Emperor located the Princesses within the palace, and overpowered Jazan while Nabile was caught in the crossfire. Razul was once again challenged by an enraged Jazan, who succeeded in countering and destroying his father. With Razul dead, the curse of Qasala was finally lifted, and peace returned to the desert.

The next morning, Nabile was recovering from her injuries, while Jazan and the Nightsteed returned to their kingdom.

To complete the tablet, users had to find parchments revealing the location of each tablet piece. To receive the third parchment, participants had to bet and feed a [[Poogle]] in [[Poogle Racing]]. To find the parchment that revealed the location of the 11th tablet piece, users had to lose a game of [[Fetch!]].

While the kingdom did exist once, it was destroyed after a deadly sandstorm 200 years ago. They both concluded that with no record relating to Jazan, he would be believed to be an imposter.

Soon after, Princess Amira prepared to make a grand speech to her people. Jazan returned to the city, and Nabile and Tomos hid on the path outside of Sakhmet to ambush him when he left. Jazan interrupted Amira's announcement, once more asking for her hand in marriage. When Amira declined once more, Jazan was thrown into a rage and summoned up a great magical force that teleported the entire city to an alternate dimension where undead creatures roamed.

Tomos and Nabile made their way back to the ruins of Qasala. There, they were attacked by the [[Nightsteed]], a mummified [[Uni]], and narrowly avoided death by falling into a pit.

In side the mysterious dimension, Amira was left with an ultimatum by Jazan: Marry him, or watch her kingdom fall by the princes' undead creatures. For now, her subjects in the palace and the citizens (even the rest of the Desert Scarabs) outside have managed to hold their own against the creatures, discovering that attacking them with blunt weapons can easily topple them. However, Jazan decided to summon a [[Scordrax]], giant two-headed [[Scorchio]], to counter the attack. With no options left, Amira reluctanly agrees to marry him.

Meanwhile, the duo braved through a few deadly traps before finding an ancient library. soon discovered the tombs of ancient Qasala, and Nabile set about trying to translate the Qasalan hieroglyphs. This revelation made Nabile a princess herself.

Heartbroken, the prince refused to eat, slowly weakening in the process.

The '''Lost Desert Plot''' ran from August 30th through November 29th, 2005. This puzzle [[Plot]] revolved around [[Tomos]], [[Nabile]], [[Jazan]] and [[Amira|Princess Amira]], all new characters to the world of Neopia.

The Neopets Lost Desert Plot was one of the more comprehensive plots [[Neopets]] had ever released. Not only were the puzzles difficult, it is the first time Neopets implemented a plot which required people to actively participate if they wanted to progress. The large '''Temple of 1,000 Tombs''', unique to each user and requiring extensive mapping, as well as the enormously large '''Scroll Repository''' brought on a phenomenon known as '''OLDPD''' (Obsessive Lost Desert Plot Disorder).

During the beginning, most of the participants barely left their computers for fear of missing out on an important event that would possibly exclude them out of the plot; this would not be the case, however.

Extremely long waiting times, sometimes weeks long, drove Neopets’ users crazy with anticipation for new clues and/or parts to be released that would allow them to continue. This, combined with increasingly harder tasks sometimes taking 5-6 hours to complete, eventually weeded out most of those who had been there from the start.

[[The Neopets Team]] portrayed the marriage of Jazan and Nabile as the end of the plot.

On November 29, 2005, the real ending was released. This second ending, involving the return and defeat of [[Razul]], tied up several loose ends and tied in the end of the puzzle part of the plot.

He has powerful skills in the dark arts, though his nature is not as malicious as that of his father. He is over 200 years old due to a curse placed on him and all of his people by his own father who wanted to gain immortality and supreme power. He is accompanied by his faithful Uni friend, [[Nightsteed|The Nightsteed]]. He was the first antagonist in the Lost Desert Plot.

Jazan was tricked into unleashing his father by a false prophecy, telling him that if he married a Sakhmet princess, the curse would be lifted. He at first tried to get princess [[Amira]] to marry him (although they both did not love each other at all) before resorting to terrorizing her kingdom, but when [[Nabile]] was revealed to be a princess too and much more openhearted towards him, he married her instead.

The curse was not lifted however, and he eventually sent her back to Sakhmet City, hoping she'd be happier there. After her departure, he severely weakened from lack of food and sorrow.

When his father, [[Razul]], later went to destroy Sakhmet, Jazan felt Nabile to be in danger and went to find her. He met his father, but was not able to stand up to him. Nabile, however, caught the attack on him, and seeing her nearly dead angered Jazan so much that it gave him more power, enough to defeat Razul.

Jazan is one of the heroes besides [[King Altador]] who have been investigating the crisis in [[Faerieland]], where all of the [[Faeries]] were turned to stone. He is currently turned to stone, along with his allies, thanks to [[Xandra]]'s betrayal.

He was accused of casting a spell to make the sun stay up, but it was [[Edna]]. He is considered to be one of the hardest bosses in the game, alongside the [[The Four Faeries]], and [[King Terask]] II, due to his high magic resistance and frequent healing. However, defeating him will give a high amount of experience.

In the 2010 plot, Hubrid Nox was considered to be the main antagonist after being seen in [[Hanso]]'s flashback at the beginning of the story. In this flashback it was shown that he had bought the "artefact" from Hanso (who had stolen it from [[Xandra]]), and used it to turn all of the Faeries into stone. However, the 5th chapter of the plot comic confirmed fan speculation that Hubrid Nox was not the real culprit, after he is attacked in the woods by a lookalike. Dialogue from the step that came with Chapter 15 suggests that Hubrid Nox was killed rather than simply stunned, something already hinted at in the 5th chapter by the skull and cross bones symbol in the cloud of smoke. In the 2010 [[Advent Calendar]], this was further evidenced when [[Magax]] left a present at his tombstone. As Magax walked away, a ghostly arm reached from the grave and pulled the gift down into the ground.

The '''Lost Desert Plot''' ran from August 30th through November 29th, 2005. This puzzle [[Plot]] revolved around [[Tomos]], [[Nabile]], [[Jazan]] and [[Amira|Princess Amira]], all new characters to the world of Neopia.

The Neopets Lost Desert Plot was one of the more comprehensive plots [[Neopets]] had ever released. Not only were the puzzles difficult, it is the first time Neopets implemented a plot which required people to actively participate if they wanted to progress. The large '''Temple of 1,000 Tombs''', unique to each user and requiring extensive mapping, as well as the enormously large '''Scroll Repository''' brought on a phenomenon known as '''OLDPD''' (Obsessive Lost Desert Plot Disorder).

During the beginning, most of the participants barely left their computers for fear of missing out on an important event that would possibly exclude them out of the plot; this would not be the case, however.

Extremely long waiting times, sometimes weeks long, drove Neopets’ users crazy with anticipation for new clues and/or parts to be released that would allow them to continue. This, combined with increasingly harder tasks sometimes taking 5-6 hours to complete, eventually weeded out most of those who had been there from the start.

[[The Neopets Team]] portrayed the marriage of Jazan and Nabile as the end of the plot.

On November 29, 2005, the real ending was released. This second ending, involving the return and defeat of [[Razul]], tied up several loose ends and tied in the end of the puzzle part of the plot.

Far from the Royal Palace, the streets of Sakhmet are full of beggars, scoundrels, and villains, including a wily gang of street urchins known as the Desert Scarabs.

One thing about Sakhmet, you can never guarantee it's a dull place, where unexpected visitors can come at any time.}}

===Marriage Proposal===
A mysterious noble named Prince Jazan entered [[Sakhmet]], full of confidence. He introduces himself as Prince Jazan the Fourth to the guards of the Royal Palace, and asks to visit Princess Amira. The guards say that only visitors with an appointment may see Amira. Jazan shows the guards a fake appointment, and they let him pass. Jazan then gives a few coins to the guards.

When Jazan enters the Great Hall, he introduces himself as the ruler of [[Qasala]] to Amira. Jazan shows a scroll of betrothal, then asks for marriage, which Amira sternly declines. He soon leaves the palace, angered by the princess's refusal.

As the Prince rode away, two local thieves by the names of [[Tomos]] and [[Nabile]] followed him with the hope of scoring some treasure. They followed the Prince to the ruins of a long dead city. With nothing to show for their travels, Nabile and Tomos returned to Sakhmet.

Meanwhile in the Royal Palace, Amira was informed by [[Enarka]], her Shoyru adviser, about the aforementioned kingdom of Qasala. While the kingdom did exist once, it was destroyed after a deadly sandstorm 200 years ago. They both concluded that with no record relating to Jazan, he would be believed to be an imposter.

Soon after, Princess Amira prepared to make a grand speech to her people. Jazan returned to the city, and Nabile and Tomos hid on the path outside of Sakhmet to ambush him when he left. Jazan interrupted Amira's announcement, once more asking for her hand in marriage. When Amira declined once more, Jazan was thrown into a rage and summoned up a great magical force that teleported the entire city to an alternate dimension where undead creatures roamed.

Tomos and Nabile made their way back to the ruins of Qasala. There, they were attacked by the [[Nightsteed]], a mummified [[Uni]], and narrowly avoided death by falling into a pit.

In side the mysterious dimension, Amira was left with an ultimatum by Jazan: Marry him, or watch her kingdom fall by the princes' undead creatures. For now, her subjects in the palace and the citizens (even the rest of the Desert Scarabs) outside have managed to hold their own against the creatures, discovering that attacking them with blunt weapons can easily topple them. However, Jazan decided to summon a [[Scordrax]], giant two-headed [[Scorchio]], to counter the attack. With no options left, Amira reluctanly agrees to marry him.

Meanwhile, the duo braved through a few deadly traps before finding an ancient library. soon discovered the tombs of ancient Qasala, and Nabile set about trying to translate the Qasalan hieroglyphs. She discovered that Qasala had been struck down with a horrible curse, and that only true love, by Jazan's marriage to a Princess of Sakhmet, would lift it.

As Nabile continued to find out more about the curse, Tomos messed a strange ring which teleported the two of them back to Sakhmet. The two are captured and seperated as the preparations of the wedding were underway.

During the wedding ceremony, Nabile arrived, interrupting and explaining that the marriage would not break the curse, as neither party loved the other. As she explained, Amira's adviser makes a startling discovery based on a picture behind the young Ixi: Nabile was actually a descendant of [[Princess Neera]], a Sakhmetian Princess whose status was stripped by her own father after loving in love with a commoner. This revelation made Nabile a princess herself.

Discovering her lost heritage, Nabile agreed to marry Jazan in Amira's place, having learned to love him. With the marriage complete, Sakhmet returned to the desert, and the couple set out back to Qasala.

Some time afterwards, Jazan's heart was mended and his and Nabile's love blossomed. However, they soon discovered that the curse had not been broken. Refusing to have such a lively person stuck in such a dead and dismal place, Jazan convinced Nabile to return to Sakhmet. She reluctantly agreed, but not before promising to search for an answer. Heartbroken, the prince refused to eat, slowly weakening in the process.

It wasn't long before an unnatural storm descended upon Sakhmet, and [[Emperor Razul]], Jazan's undead father, arrived to lay waste to the city. Claiming to have been freed from his imprisonment by the marriage, he effortlessly destroyed the Sakhmet army. Sensing Nabile was in danger, Jazan set off at full speed to the city.

The Emperor located the Princesses within the palace, and overpowered Jazan while Nabile was caught in the crossfire. Razul was once again challenged by an enraged Jazan, who succeeded in countering and destroying his father. With Razul dead, the curse of Qasala was finally lifted, and peace returned to the desert.

To complete the tablet, users had to find parchments revealing the location of each tablet piece. To receive the third parchment, participants had to bet and feed a [[Poogle]] in [[Poogle Racing]]. During the wedding ceremony, Nabile arrived, interrupting and explaining that the marriage would not break the curse, as neither party loved the other. As she explained, Amira's adviser makes a startling discovery based on a picture behind the young Ixi: Nabile was actually a descendant of [[Princess Neera]], a Sakhmetian Princess whose status was stripped by her own father after loving in love with a commoner. This revelation made Nabile a princess herself.

Discovering her lost heritage, Nabile agreed to marry Jazan in Amira's place, having learned to love him. With the marriage complete, Sakhmet returned to the desert, and the couple set out back to Qasala.

===Razul===
Some time afterwards, Jazan's heart was mended and his and Nabile's love blossomed. However, they soon discovered that the curse had not been broken. Refusing to have such a lively person stuck in such a dead and dismal place, Jazan convinced Nabile to return to Sakhmet. She reluctantly agreed, but not before promising to search for an answer. Heartbroken, the prince refused to eat, slowly weakening in the process.

It wasn't long before an unnatural storm descended upon Sakhmet, and [[Emperor Razul]], Jazan's undead father, arrived to lay waste to the city. Claiming to have been freed from his imprisonment by the marriage, he effortlessly destroyed the Sakhmet army. Sensing Nabile was in danger, Jazan set off at full speed to the city.

The Emperor located the Princesses within the palace, and overpowered Jazan while Nabile was caught in the crossfire. Razul was once again challenged by an enraged Jazan, who succeeded in countering and destroying his father. With Razul dead, the curse of Qasala was finally lifted, and peace returned to the desert.

The next morning, Nabile was recovering from her injuries, while Jazan and the Nightsteed returned to their kingdom.

==Plot participation==
To complete the tablet, users had to find parchments revealing the location of each tablet piece. To receive the third parchment, participants had to bet and feed a [[Poogle]] in [[Poogle Racing]]. To find the parchment that revealed the location of the 11th tablet piece, users had to lose a game of [[Fetch!]].

The ''furniture mover'' statistics were never released, said to be stolen. It may be a joke on [[The Neopets Team]]s part, as they say they can't continue to find the statistics, as the Sakhmet guards are looking for those who stole [[The Foreman]]s missing toenail polish, and can't bother to look into something as furniture.
