Leera Heggle is a Camouflage Kau and has been the Goalkeeper and Team Captain of the Lost Desert's Yooyuball team since 2006. Though hindered by his slowness, Leera is know for his energy, toughness, and strong instincts.

Leera is a tireless competitor and is the first to arrive for practice and the last to leave. A former All-Star, there are some who believe Leera Heggle's better days are behind him, and he would love nothing more than to win a title and prove to his doubters he's still got plenty of potential.
The sixth installment of the Games Master Challenge began on November 21, 2011. That year, the siblings were being more competitive than usual, asking the Neopian players to choose a side, either being a Brain, siding with AAA, or a Brawn siding with Abigail.

The event started with an argument in the news dated 22 November 2011 with AAA's words written in red and Abigail's in blue. In it, the two siblings argue over whether brains or brawn is more important and, to settle the debate, AAA issues a Games Master Challenge.

With the announcement of the end of the event on 30 November 2011 and the victory of Team Brains AAA and Abigail had another conversation in the news of that date announcing the prizes and AAA's victory.
NC Mall Participation
As with many of the site events released since the creation of the NC Mall, there is a NC part to this event, featuring AAA and Abigail's cousin, Lulu, who has come to visit. She decides that she'll take advantage of their distraction in the challenge to sneak into their rooms and run off with some of their possessions. If a player purchased a key for one or both of the rooms from the Mall for 700 NC each, they would be able to sneak in with Lulu each day of the event and grab a unique item for that day. Below is a list of those items.
Bonus Plays
While it was only necessary for players to complete each challenge once, they could earn various prizes and more points for their team by doing each challenge another four times. The prize awarded for completing these bonus plays was random but included notable items such as a Genius Negg and Strength Serum, several different books with either brainy or brawny topics, exercise equipment, and various food items.

Final Rewards
Final prizes and trophies were awarded based on a player's participation in the event. Though the prizes awarded were the same regardless of which team a player joined, their trophy reflects the team, with a brain on a pedestal or cup for Team Brains and a victorious fist over a trophy cup or pedestal for Team Brawn. Players who joined Team Brains were awarded a special bonus prize, Brains vs. Brawn Frame and members of Team Brawn were given a Fabulous Paper Cone Hat. Additionally, to players who finished each challenge on the day it was released, the Brains vs. Brawn Stamp was awarded, regardless of their team membership.

Prizes were awarded as follows, each level receiving the prize for their level and all levels numerically below theirs, so level two gets both the level two and level one prizes.
Opening speech
The Faeries gaze at you as you approach. You shout, "Zhadramekel!" and the Faeries start screaming in terror, as if burned. Suddenly, they each grow to twenty times their normal size. They're now as big as you are... and they're attacking!

Flee speech
The Faeries shrink back down to their normal size as you run away. "Balthazar is ours!" they scream in unison.

Victory speech
The faeries shrink back to their normal size. "You were a fool to try and defeat us!"

Defeated Speech
The Faeries each shrink to their normal size as they die, and suddenly their tiny bodies all vanish in an eyeblink. Balthazar shakes his head and sniffs the air, as the trees around you begin to change and wither. Within moments, Balthazar's Grove has become its normal, evil self, no longer enchanted by happiness.
Illusen's Glade is Illusen the Earth Faerie's home in Meridell. It was opened with the Discovery of Meridell on 30 July 2002, although a few users found their way to it earlier than that. When players visit Illusen, they have the option of completing a Quest for her by obtaining an item for her, with prizes depending on the level attained, mirroring the way quests from Jhudora's Cloud work.
Scoring for High Score List
Whenever a player completes a quest for Illusen they get a score based on how quickly they return with the item. Every quest completed gets added to the total, increasing their high score within the month the quests are started. Because all High Score Lists are reset on the 1st of every Month, a player can only add to their High Score within that month. For this reason, many players who want the Illusen's Glade Trophy will start an Illusen Quest on the first of the month and keep doing them every 12 hours until they get the Trophy they want.
Illusens Potion is a Magic Item, a once per battle weapon that does two icons of earth and two of light. Because it's so widely available, it can be bought cheaply, but it is considered a weak Battledome weapon and is not frequently used. Fighters usually prefer the slightly more expensive Caustic Potion or Mud Mixture instead.
Illusens Novel is a book about the life of Illusen. Because books disappear after being used, Illusens Novel is not as cheap as other early rewards from Illusen, averaging about 1000 NP on the Shop Wizard.
<br clear="all">
http://images.neopets.com/items/faerie_earth_mudpotion.gif
Mud Mixture is a Magic Item used in the Battledome. As a once per battle weapon, it does 5 icons of earth damage and heals 1-5 hit points. Because of its healing qualities and its wide availability, it's a favourite among beginners in the Battledome.
http://images.neopets.com/items/faerie_earth_roseshake.gif
Rose Shake is a food item. Because one must complete a considerable high level quest to get this item, and the fact food items disappear after use (thus diminishing the supply), the Rose Shake cost approximately 300 NP on the Shop Wizard.
<br clear="all">

Level 26 - Earth Spell Book
http://images.neopets.com/items/faerie_earth_earthspells.gif
Earth Spell Book is a book tells of the spells the ancient Earth Faeries used to use. Because it is attained only through doing a considerable amount of quests, and the nature of book items, it runs about 2000 NP on the Shop Wizard.
<br clear="all">

Level 29 - Leaf Shield
http://images.neopets.com/items/earth_leafsheild.gif
The Leaf Shield is a Defence Magic item, and is a classic shield for lower level or budget-minded fighters. It blocks fives icons of earth and three of physical, both very common icons at low levels. It also blocks five icons of water, which isn't very common in the Battledome. It doesn't block fire, light, dark, or air, so it shouldn't be too heavily depended on, but it can still give the user an extra edge at the end of a battle. It is priced at about 8,000 NP on the Shop Wizard, due to the fame it's gained in the Battledome. During wars, however, its price can soar well over 30,000 NP.
<br clear="all">

Level 32 - Illusens Earth Potion
http://images.neopets.com/items/faerie_earth_earthpotion.gif
Illusens Earth Potion is a Magic Item used in the Battledome, doing 6 earth and 1-3 physical icons of damage once per battle. Averaging about 1500 NP on the Shop Wizard, its solid attack and fairly low price (due to its availability) means it is usually one of the first bomb weapon a new Battledome user will equip. A downside of Illusens Earth Potion is, that it is very vulnerable to the low cost Leaf Shield, another item common with low level battlers for the exact same reason as Illusens Earth Potion. Only one may be equipped at a time.
<br clear="all">

Level 35 - Honey Potion
http://images.neopets.com/items/earth_faerie_honeypotion.gif
The Honey Potion is a Magic Item used in the Battledome. Honey Potion is essentially an Illusens Earth Potion with twice as much earth icons, dealing 13 earth and 1-3 icons of damage. The Honey Potion suffers from similar problems as Illusens Earth Potion, in that the Leaf Shield, commonly used even by low-level pets, will reduce the Honey Potion to only eight earth icons of damage. For this reason the Honey Potion is usually reserved for after freezing an opponent, in order to guarantee a solid hit.

The Honey Potion is too expensive to be sold in user shops and is valued at around 800,000 NP on the Trading Post. Its expense is due to the fact that it's one of the most popular bomb weapons for advanced users of the Battledome, and it comes in small supply due to the high level needed to be rewarded it. It's considered cost-effective however, and is still much cheaper than the Ghostkerbomb or Rainbow Clockwork Grundo, which are a step after the Honey Potion.

Because freezing an opponent and using two Honey Potions the next turn became such a common tactic in the Battledome, users are only allowed to equip one Honey Potion to any one Neopet at any one time.
<br clear="all">

Level 38 - Illusens Scroll
http://images.neopets.com/items/earth_scroll.gif
Illusens Scroll is a book written by Illusen herself, telling of her many adventures. Because books disappear after one use and the high level it takes to be rewarded this item, Illusens Scroll is expensive, selling for approximately 800,000 NP in the Trading Post.
<br clear="all">

Level 41 - Illusens Blade
http://images.neopets.com/items/earth_blade.gif
Illusens Blade is a Battle Magic item, dealing 5 earth and 1-6 physical icons of damage in the Battledome. The amount of damage it does is random, but the results fall onto a nice bell curve, averaging 8.29 icons of damage. There are a number of problems with this weapons. It does earth icons, which are common and commonly blocked. The weapons is also too sporadic, while other weapons at a similar price can consistently deal 10-12 icons of damage. The Portable Kiln, a weapon in the same price range, does a constant 11 icons of fire.

Because one must complete such a high level quest to receive Illusens Blade, it is very expensive, going for over one million Neopoints. This weapon is overpriced due to rarity, especially with the rise of 9-iconers for under 100k, but if it can be found for about half it's price it might be worth a buy.
<br clear="all">

Level 44 - Leaf Taco
http://images.neopets.com/items/earth_faerie_taco.gif
The Leaf Taco is a food item. It is a rare and hard to find food both because it is hard to complete such a high quest level for Illusen and because it is a gourmet food.
<br clear="all">

Level 47 - Illusens Orb Plant
http://images.neopets.com/items/illusen_orb.gif
Illusens Orb Plant is a gardening item. Because it is so hard to get to quest 47, the plant is very expensive, and rarely seen in the Trading Post.
<br clear="all">

Level 50 - Illusens Staff
http://images.neopets.com/items/earth_staff.gif
Illusens Staff is a Battle Magic item and one of Illusen's most potent weapons. Illusen allows only her most worthy friends to use it, and is only rewarded for completing her final quest at Level 50. Due to the expense of getting to that level, it's close to impossible to ontain. Very few of this item exist at any one time, causing their price to be well over 600 million Neopoints.

Illusens Staff attacks for 13 earth icons and 1-6 physical, for a maximum of 19 icons of damage. It heals 20% of the users maximum HP when it is in the red. Although this weapon does heal, it does not take up a healing slot. The defence of the weapon is complicated. It will block all dark icons, but should the user receive light icons at the same time, these will damage the user, in addition to 25% of these light icons, as dark icons. 75% of these light icons, as dark icons, will be reflected against one's opponent (similar to Jhudoras Wand).

It is rarely seen in the Battledome because of its rarity, and as one could buy a top-level battledome weapon set for the price of the staff.
If you are lucky, you win Neopoints - you can collect those Neopoints or continue. Unfortunately non-magical Mortogs HATE being kissed...and explode as a result. When this happens you lose ALL the Neopoints you would have won. Simple eh?

The disappearance of Krawk Island occurred on 20 July 2011, following sightings of an enormous tentacled beast around the island on 11 July&#x2020;. All that was left of the island was a single shanty occupied by Gavril McGill, who tasked the player with finding where his home island has gone.

The Neopets Team described this event as "not a plot [just] a transition". As a result of this event, Krawk Island was redesigned and the Anchor Management daily introduced.

1agB9b Im obliged for the post.Thanks Again. Really Cool.

Participation
The disappearance was noted in the New Features section of the site, and site adverts and a front page banner implored users for help. The player could join steps by visiting McGill's shanty where Krawk Island used to be.

The search
The first task became available on 20 July until 29 July. Gavril McGill enlists the user to help him search for the rest of the island. He provided the player with a chart of part of the ocean, divided into a seven by seven grid. The player then had to search the sectors of their map one at a time. They were allowed to search five sectors per day - if they missed a day, they were allowed to to perform their searches on the remaining days.

Each sector was divided up itself into a seven by seven grid. The player, captaining the ship The Surly Peadacle, and their crew of sailors can then start searching these areas one at a time. Each area may either be empty, have a small item prize, or intersect with an island. Finding an island also rewards the player with an item prize. Islands take up two by two grid spaces.

The player can keep searching a sector until their crew is completely demoralised. They grow more frustrated the more empty areas are searched - after finding five empty areas, they will insist on calling off the hunt in that sector. When this happens, the player is returned to their chart and the area they have searched is checked off.

By the third day of searching, McGill had discovered that small islands were all part of the larger Krawk Island. When this happened, the messages the player received while searching changed, but the format of the puzzle remained the same.

Island retrieval
By the 29 July, all the islets had been found. The next challenge was to bring them all together: McGill gave players a new chart of their part of the ocean, marking the location of ten islands&#x2021;. Players could retrieve a new islet every day - if they missed a day, they could catch up on it in later days while this step remained open.

In order to successfully retrieve the island, players had to arrange their crew on the ship in order to keep it balanced. This puzzle plays out like a simplified version of sudoku: in the first puzzle, the player is given a four-by-four grid, grouped into four coloured two-by-two squares. The crew consists of four cooks, four cabin boys, four boatswains, and four gunners. One of each will already be placed on the grid and cannot be moved. The remaining crew must be arranged such that no column, row, or two-by-two square contains more than one of each crew type.

Puzzles released on following days varied slightly. The shape of the coloured regions changes each day - for example, on the second day, instead of two-by-two squares, the grid was divided into L-shaped regions of four squares each. The size of the grid and the variety of crew members also increased as time went on. The third day brought a five-by-five grid and an additional type of crewmember - the mate. The fifth day brought a sixth crew member, the quarter master, and a six-by-six grid. The seventh day brought the rigger, the seventh crew member, and a seven-by-seven grid; the eighth day brought the rower and an eight-by-eight grid. The tenth day brought the final crew member, the swabbie, and a nine-by-nine grid.

Players received one of two variations of each day's puzzle.

Once the crew is arranged correctly, the island can be sailed back to McGill, and the player is awarded a Krawk Island related item prize. If it is incorrectly arranged, the crew members that are in the wrong place are highlighted and the player can try again. Puzzles had to be completed in the order they were released.

<gallery>
File:Workedsudoku0.png|Each puzzle begins with several pieces already in place.
File:Workedsudoku1.png|The solution must work around these pieces.
</gallery>

Prizes
In addition to the item awards given out during the course of the event, additional prizes were given to players who contributed from the Governor's Mansion when the event was over. This was initially bugged - immediately after its release, the Governor's Mansion showed the introduction to the Anchor Management daily instead. The Neopets Team reported it was fixed by 10:36 PM NST that day.

The prizes varied based on player contribution. Any player who participated at all got the following prizes:

*Krawken Attack avatar;
*Scurvy-B-Gone
*Inflatable Krawk Island
*Bug Eye McGee Action Figure
*Caution - Pirates Sign
*Caged Skeleton

In addition, players who completed each new puzzle on the day of its release received:

*Krawk Island site theme
*Governors Mansion Stamp.

There was also a Neopoint prize that varied based on participation. For a player who completed each puzzle on the day of its release, it was 15,000 NP, for a player who completed each puzzle but not all on the day of their release, it was 10,000 NP, and for a player who completed some but not all of the puzzles in was 1,000 NP.

Anchor Management daily
Anchor Management
Following this plot, users became able to participate once per day in scaring the Krawken away from Krawk Island's anchoring lines to keep the island together. This daily introduced Forgotten Shore map pieces, the only way of accessing the Forgotten Shore daily.

Trivia
*Several of the captions describing crew morale refer to previous plots, including the Altador Cup and the Cyodrake's Gaze mystery. Others refer to the Golden Dubloon, Food Club, and the free training Neopets receive at the Swashbuckling Academy.
*During this plot, Krawk Island activities and shops became inaccessible - attempting to visit them issued the message,
*:Other than a tiny plot of land, Krawk Island has gone missing! It's believed that the island's disappearance has something to do with a huge sea creature. You should probably look into what's going on.
:Unlike in The Faeries' Ruin plot, Krawk Island flash games like Deckball and Dubloon Disaster could still be played.
*A similar story about Krawk Island disappearing off all nautical maps for a day is featured in the Neopedia as The Day Krawk Island Went Away. This article was updated on 7 September 2011 to mention the more recent disappearance.
*The disappearance was mentioned in the Daily Puzzle for 27 July.
*This plot was referenced to explain site maintenance downtime on 3 August - rogue tentacles had gotten into the servers.
*This event is featured in a Neopedia article, Krawken Attack, released on 7 September 2011.

Notes
&#x2020; The map image of Krawk Island being dragged down by tentacles was initially substituted in error with the disappeared image on 14 July before reverting - as acknowledged in Editorial 503.

&#x2021; Some maps had eleven islets marked, and others showed ten but had an eleventh invisible one that could still be retrieved. By the end of the step, however, the most any player may have retrieved was ten.
The Altador Cup Committee is a group of officials who carefully examine each play, making sure the rules of Yooyuball are followed. Players or fans who feel something needs to be reviewed can file a petition, and the committee will decide whether or not to rule on the matter. Once both sides of the issue are heard, the committee gathers in its private chambers to discuss the situation and vote on an appropriate course of action. Some feel they are too strict, but it's the committee's decisions which maintain the integrity of the game, and the committee members' actions are always motivated by a desire to protect the game's best interests.

It was the Committee which sent invitations to the worlds of Neopia in 2006, asking to participate in the first Altador Cup tournament in 1000 years. It's also assumed the Committee is a front for the actions taken by The Neopets Team, who make sure the game is fair and balanced for all users.

Random events are chance happenings around the site that can help or hinder the player. There is a chance a random event will appear whenever the player loads a page: they appear above the page content (but below the navigation bar), and feature an image and a little snippet of text explaining what happened.

By visiting more site pages, the player increases their chance of receiving random events - PHP games such as NeoQuest or Pyramids are popular for this. The birthday site theme slightly increases the chance of any page load giving an event.

Certain items exclusively or almost exclusively enter the economy through these events - this includes map pieces, Transmogrification Potions, and Codestones. Random events appear in the Neopets TCG in the form of Something Has Happened! cards.

qs2zkV I loved your post.Really looking forward to read more. Really Cool.

Battledome challengers
Some opponents in the one-player Battledome must be unlocked before the player can fight them. While some of these are always unlocked whenever a player goes to a certain page (e.g. the Tiki Tack Man challenges anyone who visits his shop, or Edna challenges anyone who completes her quest), others are only unlocked randomly: either as part of a Something Has Happened-type event (e.g. the Down for Maintenance Pteri or Boochi) or randomly when visiting a certain location (e.g. Commander Garoo appears randomly at the Space Station).

Faerie Quests
While playing Neopets a user may be confronted by a Faerie and be given a Faerie Quest. The user must purchase an item without the use of the Shop Wizard for a reward. The exact type of items as well as the rewards depend on the faerie.

Trivia
*Some people are of the opinion that doing nice things on the site increases their chances of getting random events. The text of the game play reset random event (see above) no doubt encouraged this view, and The Neopets Team referred to it when releasing it: "Our new software installed on the Neopets servers can now detect whether you have been nice to people, and if you have you may get the following random event!". On the other hand, addressing this issue in an editorial, TNT confirmed that this was not the case and only the birthday site theme increases the chance of events appearing.
The Stamp Album, introduced on September 5, 2002, is a Neopets site feature that allows users to collect and display specific sets of collectable items. Originally, the stamp album exclusively held stamps; however, it was later expanded to hold other types of collectables including coins, seashells, evil coconuts, and charms.

Users can place an item into their stamp album by clicking on that item in their inventory and then selecting "Put into your Stamp Album" from the drop down list. Once an item has been placed in a user's stamp album, it cannot be removed.

The stamp album is also a considered a game and is called "Stamp Collector" in the Games Room. In this game, users receive one point for every item in their stamp album. Like other games, Stamp Collector has a high score table and gives out trophies to top players.
