Who here likes Yellowcard? I just bought their album 'Ocean Avenue' yesterday, and I've fallen in love with it.

Tracks on Ocean Avenue

1. Way Away
2. Breathing
3. Ocean Avenue
4. Empty Apartment
5. Life of a Salesman
6. Only One
7. Miles Apart
8. Twenty Three
9. View From Heaven
10. Inside Out
11. Believe
12. One Year, Six Months
13. Back Home

I really like Yellowcard because of their unique sound. Not many bands use both an electric guitar and a violin. Yellowcard is the perfect band to me because they play instruments, sound good together, and can actually sing.

So... any other fans?

I think Yellowcard rock, they sound really good from what I have heard, but I have yet to get the album. Though Ryan Key's voice can irritate me unfortunately, but not very often, depends what mood I'm in whilst I'm listening to their songs.

I love how they use a violin also, it sounds really great. :D

Yeah, they definitely have a very unique sound and that's why I like them. Similar to how I love Something Corporate for their guitar/piano/strings combos. Two very awesome bands right there. :-P

I have Ocean Avenue as my cell phone ringtone. ^_^

Yellowcard are cool. I've got Ocean Avenue, and it's awesome. My favorite song of theirs is Gifts And Curses, which is on the Spider-Man 2 soundtrack.

Iggedit: sorry Andrew, but Yellowcard 'are' cool, please.

I also think they're pretty good. I've listened to Ocean Avenue and liked it so much I decided to put it on the cd I listen to.

I hear that "View from Heaven" song is pretty good too, although I haven't heard it yet.

They came to my school last year, when they were less known. I wish I had brought a camera that day.
They're all right. I've only heard Ocean Avenue so far, which I really like.

They're pretty good, sounded consistent live too (2004 VMAs). Love the violin thing, it's original, haha. I like Ocean Avenue (and its music video, but then it got kinda overplayed)...but I'm not a big fan of "Only One".

I've only heard "Way Away" and "Ocean Avenue" but I really really like both of them. :D I think I've heard "Miles Apart" too. I shall be getting the album sometime soon. Probably. :)

Since I wanted more music to listen to, I decided to check them out. ...I think I found my new favorite band. ^____^ The singer dudes kind of remind me of Blink 182, but the music is better. I can't pick my favorite song of theirs... They're all so good... aaaaahhhhh...

View from Heaven is amazing. But so sad...

Kim, you're so lucky. How did your PTO/PTA/Whoever organized it get them to come to your school?

Our ASB organized it, I believe. They just asked. After Yellowcard came, Emaneht heard about it and wanted to promote themselves too. So we have live music at lunch every now and then.

I heard Yellowcard way back when, bought the album, and liked it. Of course, my favorite song remains 'Ocean Avenue'; however, Way Away and its acoustic version make me happy as well. I don't listen to them much anymore, though. Such is life.

Their earlier work (2001) is pretty bad though, in my opinion.

My cousin burned me a copy of it. I'm not a big fan, but Ocean Avenue is one of my fave songs of all time.
