I've been having this problem for a few days now and it's really bugging me as I've gotten used to checking my email regularly. I can't seem to get to gmail or hotmail. I'm using firefox and I keep getting the 'connection was refused' error message. I can't access the sites in IE either. I have no idea. I ran Spybot and Spysweeper but there seem to be no problems. I'm really desperate right now and any help but be greatly appreciated.

Well, I suppose I should ask the standard check questions:

1) Is Javascript turned on in your browsers?
2) Are cookies allowed?
3) Have you done anything (in/uninstalled a program, etc.) since you could last check it?

You might want to check the options in your firewall to see if you might have accidentally blocked either one. I know that's happened to me before.

Java is enabled and cookies are allowed. I don't think I've done anything either.

I already did and everything seems fine.
