I like it, but I think that you need to really look at fire. There's a pattern to the colors; not just random red/orange/yellow.
As well; the egg looks awfully... round, rather then an oval like most eggs. It just threw me off a bit.
Still not bad.
You did this with a mouse?

I don't really get much of an opportunity to look at fire... hmmm.. I should go camping.

A Wacom tablet, I am sad to say.
I convinced my dad to get me one - I thought it would improve my drawing.
It didn't.

I always imagined that phoenix's came from eggs. They can't suddenly come from ashes, where do they come from actually? Lifes mysteries!

They're magic. hence why they can be born again from fire.

And Combat Boot.

Work on drawing by hand. The tablet will come with skill derived from what you've got in real life.
