So basically, that's it? Mostly just voting? Because I've seen all this stuff about shields and powers and all that. It's probably basic as anything, but I still don't get it
It helps to have followed a game or two before you join one, It's not all that hard once things get started though. You're a smart cookie, but if you need any help with the actual gameplay aspect of it, I'm sure that anyone would be willing to help you out.
If you have a question about your role or whatever, you can always feel free to PM Scottie (He doesn't bite [at least, he hasn't yet
]) During my first game, I probably sent poor scottie like 40 questions about the game XD.)
One of the things that I've learned is that no matter what you say or do, you WILL be suspicious. It also helps if you are an innocent townfolk or something so that you can sit back and watch people go at each other's throats (then again, it's fun to watch people do that anyhow
). If you get a baddie role, it'll make things A LOT harder for you.
In my first game of WW (WW7 XD) I had one of the most insane baddie roles and was stuck with a crazy partner. Even when my role was posted right on the game board, people didn't understand it (most still don't
). In the end, people just assumed that we were these invincible gods that couldn't die. To this very day, people think that me and my partner were in some way invincible, even though that's as far from the truth you could get
