Everytime my grandparents are over I feel impatient and annoyed. However, everytime they leave, I feel ashamed and regret my actions. My grandparents live overseas and I hardly get to see them. They're both in their 80s now. I wish to see them again before it's too late or I don't think I can ever let myself live that down.

On a brighter side, you don't need television and malls to have fun. If you feel like you do, then it's wise to change that as soon as possible. Bring books to read, take walks outside, spend time with your grandmother. I'm sure it would benefit you both to get to know each other and have fun together before things like that aren't possible. Try board games, card games, arts, crafts, etc. There's alls sorts of options open to you. You don't need technology to have a good time. Remember, you're human. Interact with humans and not machines, even though it's hard to tear yourself away from the addiction of machines.

When my grandmother was alive, and when I was little, I used to stay at her house for many weeks out of the summer...she never had a computer but eventually got WebTV...which is ok.

the rson i don't hve fun is, it is alas mycoun and m in n oom going2wat do you wannna do/ ..-insert that somethinghere by me-2na, takesto much energy2. we do that while my mum ad grandad talk, and my nan spends that day on the computer.

i know i don't need tecnology to have fun, bti am very.....energetic, ad my cousin is't, and i guess that is te problem.

I cannot understand about more than half fo that...o.o;...But my Grand mother died when I was maybe 6 or 7...

sory, my wireless keybard batteries are almost lat. the resaon i am bored over thir is becaue i am vey energetic ad my cousn isn't. my mum and grandad spend their time talkingin the garden, nan on the computer in the sideroom and me ad my cousin in the front room....normaly with the dogs.

Whatever you do, never replace your batteries. I'm having more fun trying to read your posts than just about anything else...
