I had to beg my mom for about 7 years for an allowance. I finally got one like 2 years ago. I get 5 bucks a week.

I used to get 5 bucks a month. Of course, that was back in the day when you could get a whole lunch for 25cents.

Eh, I don't get allowance, I mite go weeks without money and then just ask my parents if I can have some and they usually give it to me. I'm not begging for money or anything so its not like they dread giving me some when I inquire on it.

I've never had an allowance. I've had a paper route since I was nine, and if there's something I want but don't have the money for, my parents buy it and I pay them back.

I don't know if I still get allowance. I got payed $500 a month for working at my parent's store, but they won't let me use it. So I got a job because I want this. Yeah, the price is a little steep. I'll probably end up not getting it :P.

I never got an allowance. I was always expected to help around the house for free. For one, I'm part of the family and not some stranger. And I don't pay my mother cash for cooking my meals. I do, however, get money when I need it, for the most part.

I no longer get allowance from my parents as I'm 18 but when I was younger I used to get about $2.00 a week and that was only if I emptied the dish-washer every second morning for my Mum :D

I don't get it...

But when I was like 11 I used to get 5 dollars.
And this one time my mom gave me $20, but the stupid maid stole it.

$10 every Friday. However if I do yardwork during the week then I get an extra $20. The ammount generally depends on all the work I do that week, sometimes its more, sometimes less.

It started at $10 a week, but I don't need it, and my mom usually forgets. I'm cheap, so I save more than I spend.

I don't get any money. Though, I get some when I need to buy something like, food or suppiles for school. Though my parents also let my have money for things that I personally want. Also, when my uncle comes and visits I get about 100 to 500 bucks. He just says get things for your self and for your everyday needs. He so nice and generous, sometimes I do want to take the money from him, but if I don't I feel as though I am insulting him. Oh well. It's all good. ^0^

During the school year, I get $20 a week, but we have to spend some of that money on our lunches at school. I usually keep $10 and spend $10 on lunch. In the summer, I get $10 a week because we are lower on money since my mom is sort of a teacher.

I do my chores, by I don't get paid. We've tried to work out a system, like handing me $5 a week, and then we tried a $20 bill a month, but we all just ended up forgetting. 0_o

I don't really do chores at my house, and I don't get allowance.
My mom has this drawer were she puts about 100 dollars for me, and I take some money every time I need it. When it gets empty, she fills it up.
