IE 7 seems to look better (not sure what they did to the menus, but their disappearance is rather nice for the vertical size of the non-webpage area).

You can make the menu bar reappear, I had to hunt about for ages to find it at first.

Tools -> Toolbars -> Classic Menu

It's clearly a rip-off of Firefox. Of all the former IE versions, not once have they ever thought of the tabbed browsing feature. That is, until Mozilla Firefox appears.

Firefox wasn't the first browser to have tabbed browser, so obviously firefox ripped off Opera, or whatever browser did it first.

I recall reading that Microsoft didn't use tabbed because of security features. But then when it took off with FireFox, well, its popularity was too much for Microsoft to handle

I downloaded it, thank you so much, I had the really crappy IE, like 5 or 4, and kept giving me viruses, etc. SO I started using Firefox, but after reinstalling the new IE, All the problems compeltely vanished :)

But I still prefer Firefox :)

I honestly don't understand why everyone doesn't use firefox. It's safer, faster, and all around better. There's about a 10 minute learning curve, as well as a helpful tutorial for the simple difference in icon names. The sole fact that Firefox is more secure and will save you hours of clearing out virii should be enough to make the switch. Oh, and Firefox just has more features, all of Internet Explorer's "innovations" are just poorly done ripoffs.
Get Firefox.

The reason, I use I.E. Is because FireFox doesn't agree with my computer. Yes its a Pentium 4 computer with Windows XP. I don't like FireFox, because of all these 'blocks' on CSS that I had to adjust. I didn't really find Mozilla Firefox faster, it was really the same speed. Mozilla does a really 'conviencing' trick here, they make everything that's loading show up, making it look faster. I.E waits for a section of the image/text to load, then it shows it. We assume its faster. So I did a internet speed test, with BOTH of browsers and I got VERY similar results. :P . So don't be fooled.
