Random.org says I should say that I said I would take the long, scenic romantic route. Haste makes waste!

Sorry to miss a round... I've been very busy being very sick (going to the doctor's tomorrow), and most of the internets faded in the background. Keep your fingers crossed for me getting better, ok?

Let's hope only the minority does this

So, apparently only two of you actually want to spend time with your sweethearts. How sad. Are you sure you guys don't need some relationship advice?

Rush there as fast as you can(2)- loser, Pardona
Take the long, scenic route(4)- Siniri, Dyl, Pixa, Zilary
No Answer(2)- StuMan, Katherine

And Zilary is next!
*Flips a coin* Head or Tails?

Love advise from an oddball (I mean that in the nicest way) like you would be pretty awesome to read...

Random.org is mean to me, but I'm going to stick with it. It says I should say that I said a statue of liberty -- which I guess is tails.

And I'm taking the long, scenic route to finding a love (yeah, that's the way to put it -- it sounds a lot better than "hasn't been on a date in 1.5 years").

Haha, it'd probably be pretty worthless as well, given that I'd have no clue what I was talking about xD.

Anyway, I'm sure you're all just waiting for me to get to the results. And so without further ado....

No one gets anything :P

That's right folks, a tie!

Heads(3)- Katherine, loser, Zilary
Tails(3)- Siniri, Dyl, Pardona
No Answer(2)- Pixa, StuMan

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... to make up for the lack of any points being scored, we have something dramatic. In a sad kind of way. Pixa has falled to -3 points. Pixa, I'm sorry to tell you that you have been eliminated.

So, to make you feel better, you get to ask the next question :)
Me or you?
So very profound! Well, there you have it, folks!

 Gosh, I really suck.

*runs off crying more*

Well, this is interesting. I have four answers. They're all the same xD.

You(4)- loser, Siniri, Zilary, StuMan
No Answer(3)- Dyl, Pardona, Katherine

So, uh, no one gets any points. Again :P

Pardona's next, being as he's the only one who hasn't gotten to ask a question yet.
Since this is a fourth edition, what movie should definitly not have a fourth edition? Spiderman, or Lord of the Rings?

Let's see if we can get a few more people answering this time :)

Are you guys trying to do this?

Spiderman(4)- loser, Siniri, Katherine, Zilary
No Answer(3)- Dyl, StuMan, Pardona

No one gets any points... for the third round in a row. Also, StuMan has dropped to -3 points, and has thus been eliminated.

For question nine, it's loser's turn again!
wh00t or w00t?

Let's get some points this time.

Lack of computer time = not fun.

Dagnabbit. I'm using random.org to arbitrarily pick. Everyone quit copying my random answer!

Here's to random.org, picker of majority answers. woot.

Re: Minority Rules - The Fourth - Question Nine Posted

Obviously my calculator is better than random.org :P

So, anyway, I was coming on to let everyone know that results would be posted late, as I've got a fiddle lesson, and lo and behold, I was greeted by answers from everyone! So the round will instead finish early :)

And... exciting! 'Twas a very close thing, but there are actually points being given out this round.

Wh00t(1)- loser
W00t(5)- Katherine, Dyl, Zilary, Siniri, Pardona

So loser gets an extra special two points, boosting her up to four points total. The suspense! Will this next round be the last? Or will the other players prevent loser from being in the minority? Only time will tell! Oh, and Siniri's question.
How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop? None (insert sarcastic comment here) or 567 (I'm a good counter but don't have a life)

Yay for not randomizing that last one.

Did you treat them with love and care?

loser wrote:Did you treat them with love and care?

I might have if you'd answered this question. But no. You didn't. I'm crushed. You get no love and care.
*sobs*

So, apparently those in the lead want to give the others a chance to catch up :P

567(1)- Siniri
None(4)- Zilary, Pardona, Dyl, Katherine
No Answer(2)- loser

So, Siniri gets two points this time! *applause!*

And, it's Zilary's turn to ask a really long question
As I was going to St. Ives I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks, each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits: kits, cats, sacks and wives...
I don't want to do the math or just one?

As the impartial commentator, I'd just like to point out that the question of the puzzle is never actually asked. So, we don't know that they're asking how many are going to St. Ives. Maybe they're asking how many are leaving St. Ives. Or maybe they're asking how many elephants can fit in a submarine.
