Wow, 3 hours? I've never had to wait that long before, silly apathetic Canadians

Ironically, during the 2004 election, I also waited for 3.5 hours for early voting, while my friends who went on election day only had to wait 10-30 minutes. And yet they encourage us to do early voting to "avoid long lines on election day." :P

Americans are usually apathetic, too, but they've had record numbers of new voters register in the few months leading up to this election. I'm sure the bureaucracy of voting will take a while to catch up with the new numbers.

I feel like I have butterflies in my stomach :)

I waited 10 minutes in the last Federal election for Canada.

It was awesome.

I'm feeling upset, as usual it seems. Something's always setting me off lately :(

Having had the perfect day, I feel pretty darn good.
I wore my witch costume all day, read the Fail Blog, for four or five hours, saw Zack and Miri, came home and ate leftover candy. Then I got to level 100 of Fernswarthy's Basement in KoL, and to finish it off, I watched "Jessie's Song"--the Saved By The Bell episode featuring this incredibly brilliant exchange:
Jessie: Time? TIME??! There's never any time! I don't have time to study! I'll never get into Stanford! I'll let everyone down! I'm so confused!
Zack: Everything will be all right, just calm down, OK?
Jessie: You're right! Everything will be OK. I just need one of these! [Gets pills out of drawer]
Zack: Pills?? You mean you really are taking drugs?! [grabs Jessie]
Jessie: I need them! I need them, Zack, I HAVE TO SING! [Struggles in an entirely unconvincing manner]
Zack: Jessie! You can't sing tonight!
Jessie: Yes I can! [Begins singing] I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO ... [sob] .... SCARED! [Cries]

Siniri - Yikes.
I heard the lines were bad in Georgia. :o

Happy.
3.7k already for NaNo, and I'm not even done transposing what I wrote in my notebook.
Hurrah! :D

Afraid.

I only have 865 words for NaNo!

I feel tired, annoyed, and kinda happy. I ate only sweet stuff today, but now I fancy some toast. I had a case of the hiccups developed from forcing myself to burp. Internet was being bad and laggy today.

I'm calming down now. Half my NaNo got deleted an hour ago, but it's almost all back now.

Kinda stuffed, I think I ate a few too many cookies while I was annoyed....but chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven are so darn tempting!

A little anxious; my school may close down for a strike and I'd prefer for it to close for only a week. Anything after a week would really suck!
