Re: The PPT Graphics Academy III - Round Three

DM was on Fire and Apex will be eliminated this round.

Round Four

Make a wallpaper

- 800x/600px or 1024px/768px.
- You must use at least two images.
- You must keep the original colors of the image you use.

A maximum of one person will be eliminated this round.

Wallpapers are due on Saturday, September 1st.

Some things to remember:

Most people have a task bar at the bottom of their screen, for this assignment, assume that everyone does.
Most people like to have a place on their wallpaper to put icons that doesn't cover up a part of the main image.

Hmmm yeah could you explain the color thing a bit more? I'm also a little confused by what you mean.

with the colour thing, are we allowed to add more colours into the image if we keep the original colours? And are we allowed to dull, brighten etc. the orginial colours?

edit - oh well seeing as the due date is today here is my entry, I hope it fits the requirements -

on the colors:

You can do some slight altering to the brightness/levels if you want (very slight, only to fix a low quality image), but you cannot add more colors, or take away some. The original needs to match the entry.

Ic, ic.. sorry to be a pain, but can I have an extra day to finish mine? I made one but it didn't fit the requirements so I need to do another.

you can have as much time as you need. The rules were very vague for this round, so I'm extending it indefinitely.

Er, does this work?

Wallpaper: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/M ... wall-1.png
Images: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/Medli/Shino-1.png and http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/M ... no-old.png
Programs: PS Elements

If not, go ahead and continue on without me. I've taken enough time already, and besides I don't think I could do another. Wallpapers are my weakness. XD Anyways, thanks for keeping this open.

Now, I'm not sure about this entry because it does keep the colors of the two images I used, but I also used the same image elsewhere with slightly different colors.
