I, Lord Rhinestone Cowboy III, puppy-slap at you with my spear of ingenuity. Mischief and mayhem ensues.

A few other hyena's entered the clearing, two males and three females. Tulkas didn't release her grip, "you two, get him this lion to release Yemhia! The others guard that lioness."
Tulkas was fairly known with the lions in this area as she knew them. She didn't knew this lion, however.

~let go, huh? Not in this lifetime...~
Kai kept his hold and started to fling the hyena around, but kept a firm hold on the leg.
~I havent eaten in a few days, i don't intend on waiting any longer~
He saw the other hyenas, and figured that maybe he should let go if h wanted to life to see tomorrow that is. He flung the Hyena at the others, gave a loud roar to establish his position, and faces the on-comming enemies...
~This could be the death of me, right on! I needed some action...~
Fri Jul 16, 2004 5:07 pm
Tulkas released Kai. She did a few steps backward.
Yemhia was whining pityfully. But it seemed he could still step.
The other lions of the Undani Pride would be here soon.
Tulkas snorted.
"This isn't over yet, Niniane!" With a growl, she left the clearing, the other hyena's followed her.

~and there goes my food...~
He turned towards the Lioness.
"Did you know them?" he asked, keeping his own distance until he knew weither or not she was to be trusted...
(man, i thought i was all alone for a while there...)

((Did my post just disappear? I know I posted here.))
Niniane smiled to herself.
"Of course it's not over, Tulkas. I haven't killed you yet." she called after the leaving hyena.
She whipped around as she heard another lion calling to her.
"Yes, I know them. It's a long story, really, that I don't want to get into."
Nia watched as the lion kept its distance from her, like she was a dangerous, murderous lion. She liked that.
((Kuroro- if you want, you can think of the actual reason why we know each other.))

Aret had been naping quietly by herself under the shade of a tree when she heard a roar. It was from an Undani pride member though, not her business. With a swish of the tail, she laid back over and continued her nap.
Sat Jul 17, 2004 3:04 am
Zehrin looked up, blinking, at the sound of the Undani's roar. "I hope they aren't causing trouble again." she murmured to no one. She stood up, stretching. Glancing around, she went to find the others of her tribe.

((Sounds good to me. I think it will come up while playing also. I don't mind you making something up. Though, I guess I have something here already. Tell me if I have to change. ))
Tulkas ran at the head of the pack. Soon they were out of range of the lions hearing them.
She halted suddenly. The others narrowly evaded her.
A younger female, Mewa, complained deeply, "why didn't we get them? They were outnumbered."
The others also seemed displeased.
Tulkas turned, her teeth bared, she growled deeply, "fools!"
"Didn't the previous Queen died at the hands of that over-grown leader of them! Or Mabere? Dinvas? Dinvas' son, barely an adult?"
She didn't mention with it that Dinvas' son had provoked the attack himself, killing one of the cubs of the pride.
Now that she had the attention of every member of her pack next to her, she grew calm.
"No, I smelled the other Undani members were nearby. Another time, another place. We'll first take the young, the old. We'll attack when they are alone. Weakened. But not surrounded by possible allies. "
"I am no fool Mewa!"

Aret woke from her nap a bit later. She lifted her head and yawned heavily while noticing Zehrin not to far from her. Lifting her body from the ground, she walked over and sat beside the lioness. "You heard it too?" she asked. "It seems like they are always getting into trouble, the Undanis."
Sun Jul 18, 2004 9:16 pm
"Yes, I heard it. Probably with the hyenas again, too. What do they have against them? If you just leave them alone, they are mostly all right..." Zehrin said, sitting down. "The Undanis better watch out, or they will have the hyenas accidently getting our cubs..."
Tue Jul 20, 2004 3:30 am
Aret's nose skin wrinkled up a bit. "They better stay far from our cubs, or I presume there will be another war. Not a pretty sight."
Tue Jul 20, 2004 5:26 am
Zehrin nodded. "Hmm." She layed down, and closed her eyes. It was not to go to sleep though, but to think. "What do you think, Aret? I do not know what to think of the Undanis anymore."
Tue Jul 20, 2004 6:35 pm
The sun began to color the sky.
Tulkas stood on a small rock, overlooking the pack. All the pups were outside now. There were six, under which her daughter and princess of the pack, Talre. Her daughter was the biggest pup around.
But, what was more important now, if all six survived to adulthood, the pack would become a serious threat to the lions.
Tulkas grinned.
But now it was time to hunt. The wounded Yemhia as well as an older, but fit hyena would stay behind to look after the pups.
Tulkas assembled the pack. Zebra's had been spotted.
Laughing and yapping, the hyena's took of in the striped beasts direction.
Tue Jul 20, 2004 6:58 pm
Aret sighed. "I do not know. Personally, I haven't had an experience with an Undani pride member for quite some time."
Wed Jul 21, 2004 6:45 pm
The sun was only a red stripe anymore on the horizon. Zebras were jumping, galloping in panic through the grasses.
One of them was crying in anguish. It wasn't dead yet, but held down by five hyena's and surrounded by another six.
