I still prefer the older Green Day music to this newfangled stuff =P

Oddly enough, a couple of years ago, I could mention Green Day, and a very large percentage of the people around that were under age 16 would be like "Who are Green Day?" and I'd do a facepalm.
And now some of these people rock out to American Idiot and act like they've been fans forever. Ugh.

Yeesh, you call me a music snob my dear!
And you're ugh-ing at a new generation of fans.

I'm not a Green Day fan at all, but if I were I wouldn't be sneering at people who've got to know American Idiot and become fans of the band, even if they haven't been fans for years.
