OPTIMUS
Congrats to ya, buddy. You definitely deserved to win! You've entered all of these, and I honestly don't think anyone has tried to improve just as much as you have.
And for all you people just dying for PPTTG 4, that'll be up and running...eventually.

So keep your eye on this thread.

*shoves crown on Optimus' head* Mr. King Graphician. ;P
You did awesome. Haha, I totally saw this coming. When I first saw that set, I was like, "There's no way on earth I can beat that thing." Your sets rock my hair scrunchies.

Congratulations, boy.

Congrats Optimus! I've been sitting here watching for a while, and I think your graphics are totally awesome.

You deserve this!

Congrats, Optimus! You really deserve this honor! Great job! And as for me, I'm glad I made it this far! I hope to be in 4th PPTTG! *throws confetti* Yay for Optimus! *cheers*

How exactly do you qualify to be a participant in this? I'm interested in entering PPTTG 4.

You don't qualify.

You post saying 'I want to join PPTTG 4!' and Voila! you're now a participant.
You just don't ask to join until I say everyone is allowed though.

I want to join.
Lol, just kidding. Congrats to all the winners, and I was definately suprised to see you improve so much optimus after my return to ppt. Great job EVERYONE, and I hope you had fun.

I did the math yesterday but I didn't want to post until the official announcement was made...
*pulls out speech*
Firstly, I'd like to thank the judges for their constantly spurring me on to do better and to believe that I can change for the better and be more creative with graphics. I'd also like to congratulate all the other finalists, some of those sets thy made really rocked my socks *cheesy*
Funnily enough, I was actually about to withdraw from that round of the competition because I could not come up with anything to make a set with. Then TNT released the Meridell map background and i thought that I'd give myself a bit of a challenge and try to tear apart that map and reconstruct it into a set.
I'm glad to have finished graphic making on a high note. That's right. Finished. Well, only for a week anyway. I recently got a new computer and i have misplaced my Paint Shop Pro CD so until I find out which one of my friends has it or where I put it, I won't be making any graphics.
Once again, thanks to the judges, participants and all the people who came along and posted a congratulations for me. Thanks everyone!

I have a question though, Optimus. How do you do it? I noticed that the BG eraser was new to PSP 8, and yet, I know that PSP 5 doesn't have it. How do you not butcher the pic?

I am now accepting judge applications only. (AKA you currently can't ask to join as a contestant.)
Current judges, please post or PM me so I know if you are interested in judging again for PPTTG 4.
Application requirements
PM me a rating of the set below. Judges will be chosen on their skill at rating and any previous graphics experience you may have.

Congratulations Optimus! You've definitely improved leaps and bounds since the last competition, and you deserve this. Yay!
As for the other finalists (as well as contestants), you all did absolutely amazing too! This competition is great, because it displays so many different styles. I ♥ it.
Congrats again!

In response to DM, I won't go into much detail but I mainly used the clone tool to remove the background image from the map, then used the clone tool to add in a few extra lines and such. After that, I resized the orignal map and selected the bottom and top edges and used a few tools including the clone tool, to try and make the edges match. It's something that you have to see to understand it better. I'm not too good with writing procedures when it comes to graphic making.
As for PPTTG4, I think I'm gonna sit it out. It'll befun watching from the sidelines.

Congrats Optimus
The set you made was pretty cool
I have improved on my blending skills since the wallpaper challenge, so I will definitely be entering the next competition (if I have time).

Aah. Thanks Optimus! Anyway, I will be entering PPTTG4. (I've been working on my styles.
