For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

*Bumpage* Ooh, it's Thursday! I can't wait to see all the set ratings. :D Dawn, I assume you made all these sets yourself, right?

Thu Sep 23, 2004 8:27 pm

Insane Rubber Duck has been disqualified.

Okay, judges, now for the boring... er... fun part. :P Please rate each subtext, and I suppose you can post who you'd like to disqualify. I supposing PMing only builds up the suspense. :)

I wish I have joined. :(

Tue Sep 28, 2004 8:48 pm

Sorry, on diet cat. :(

Since the judges seemed to have decided to forget about this competition, I'll be rating the subtexts myself later.

Tue Sep 28, 2004 9:02 pm

Aww that's a shame Dawn! You've put a lot of effort into this competition so it's pretty sad on the judges to not even check this topic.

Anyway, I just want to say THANKYOU DAWNIE!!!

Tue Sep 28, 2004 9:33 pm

Ahk, sorry to hear that Dawn, I'm glad you're still judging, though. :) Maybe you could get some new judges, after all the contest just started and I think you could find some people interested. ;) I echo Twinkle's sentiment, btw. :D

Thanks, guys. :) Judges still get two more chances, and if they don't come for those chances, then I'll find new permanent judges. Anyone who wishes to be an alternate judge that IS NOT a participant, PLEASE message me. By the way, I don't have tons of time this very moment, so I won't finish all of the ratings now. :)

Chii- Hehe, I love it. It's kind of predictable, but so perfect for this signature. However, it seems a bit off, as the song is 'we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year', not just 'merry Christmas and a happy New Year'. Anyway, I still love it.

Amarise- A bit too serious for this sig, but I "dig" it (as all you young hooligans say :P). For some reason, I think that subtext would better suit a romantic Christmas set. Anyway, just me. I still think it fits the theme well enough.

Kugetsu- Again, a bit too serious for this sig, but I think it fits. But it seems a bit... off. Like it's missing something. I dunno, but I think it fits, if not perfectly, anyhow.

Jaye- Hehe, straight and to the point. I like this one. It has a bit of humor, like the signature, and I just think it goes quite well. When I think of this subtext, I really start to think, for some reason, of a little kid wishing a merry Christmas to someone because their parents said so, and then asking for dessert- the thing he was bribed with in the first place. :P

Twizzler- Eh, not a fan of this one. I don't think it really fits. For one, the reindeer in this picture has a pink nose, not a red one. :P For two, it doesn't... flow with the main text. All in all, I think it's a bit too ordinary.

Amethyst- It goes with the theme, but it just doesn't... fit. It feels like something is missing from it. To me, anyway. Maybe I'm just crazy...

Twinkle- Hehe, I like this one. It's funny, it fits, and the only problem I see is that it may be a bit too long for the sig. But, that's not a problem, considering the subtext isn't being put right on the sig. All and all, I like the humor. It goes with the signature. :)

Ammer- This is my favorite one. It just goes so well! It's funny, it fits in with the theme, and the length is perfect! No problems at all!

*does the bump dance* Thank you for your ratings, Dawn. :) I'm glad you liked mine, because try as I might it was the only thing I could think of. (Normally I have dozens of ideas, but this one just seemed to draw a blank) I look forward to seeing your next set. ;)

Fwee... all of the ratings are done and now it's that terrible time again, when someone must be eliminated. This time, that person will be...

Keep scrolling.

And more.

Okay, done playing.

That person is...

Twizzler. Sorry. :(

By the way- I NEED JUDGES. I hate having only my opinion in the mix. I'll pay if I have to. Thanks for participating, participants, and I'll have a new sig soon.

I would like to judge, I've been watching this.

Sat Oct 02, 2004 6:29 pm

Eh, I could have sworn the nose was red. Oh well. Thank you, and I enjoyed the time I was in.

Just a question: Can I rejoin, as one of the judges?

Sat Oct 02, 2004 6:32 pm

lol dawn you're so mean, making us scroll that far just to check for our names. :P At least it wasn't as bad as when you posted your set contest winners. (I laughed so hard at that, I'm glad I didn't enter. ;) ) Ooh, yay, more judges! Whenever I happen to be eliminated I'd be happy to be a 'guest' judge, if you still need them by then. (Which, hopefully, you won't) :)

Sure. :) But, for my alternate list. If Koku misses 2 more rounds (Messs17 and Crystal Cloud both had a good excuse), then you will be called upon to be a permanent judge. If any of the judges doesn't reply within the week-long judging time, I'll just send you a PM and ask you to judge for that round with me. :)

Zenith, same for you and Amarise (when/if she gets eliminated). :)

And, yes, Amarise, I enjoy being cruel. :P
