I love the Darkness except "I believe...". It's been overplayed WAY too much and it just gets irritating. Their videos are hilarious and it's quite funny to hear people who've had a bit to drink attempt the high notes.
They bring something different to the modern music scene and remind me of some classic rock bands.

The Darkness's producer (Mutt Lange) should have gone back to work with AC/DC.

I think The Darkness are quite good if you don't take them seriously. However, they really do need new material, they've spent long enough riding on the success of their debut. It'll be interesting to see if they can do it again.

To me The Darkness are one of those bands I can only listen to in short bursts. I could listen to them again now, after not hearing them for 4 months

I have a strong distaste for The Darkness. The few songs that I have heard didn't "tickle my fancy" and I never had a desire to explore anything else they've done.

His vocals are really high pitch man. I think its nice to hear it once in a while, it gets a little irritating after a while.
