A different Photoshop problem - Can be locked!

I'm using Photoshop 7.0 and I can load all of my brushes, but when I try to use them, none of them appear on my canvas. I have no idea what the problem is. They were all working the other day and I haven't changed anything since then. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Try resetting your brushes to the default set, and then loading them up again.

EDIT: I fixed the problem. I reset all of the preferences and now everything works fine!
