Ole" by Bouncing Souls might be another that would work for you, and perhaps "Tessie" by Dropkick Murphies. Both are about sports of sorts, and they're fairly odd.
Since people have been mentioning Fountains of Wayne, I'd suggest "Survival Car". It's from one of their earlier albums. "Fire Island" off of Welcome All Interstate Managers is oddish as well.
