*sob* Why? I wanna see this emo picture of Jade you speak of. :P

I have a crazy picture of Davey playing Dance Dance Revolution. Hmmm, wouldn't mind seeing that at an arcade.

AFI changed their sound because they had member changes. I mean there's pre-Jade AFI, and post-Jade AFI. I love both, really. I'm doing a project on hardcore music for english class, and I'm bringing in some early AFI and my Bombing the Bay 7" (which is one of my prized possessions). I know someone who has Dork. I envy him to a point of no return. Plus they're crazy nice and they answer my letters.
Nothing beats listening to The Great Disappointment and The Chicken Song right after it.

(excuse the late reply, for I have just joined so I'm on delay)

i'm taking an english elective that's about modern music, looking at lyrics and music criticism. so we basically listen to music and analyze the lyrics.
oh yeah.
be jealous.

We did something like that once in our creative writing class. It was called "Lyrics is Poetry." Pretty fun. I, of course brought in AFI. ("God Called in Sick Today.") I wish we could do that again in our regular English class, it was fun and we actually got work done. And I mean, c'mon, I got to listen to AFI in class. No complaints there. ;)

we have a play-and-tell every class, but i only get like 3-6 turns and AFI isnt really on the top of my list. it's amazing lyrics, but i want to bring in lesser known and wierder stuff. like edie sedgwick, which will be playing next week. huzza!
