The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

Yeah, the second Saw was more of a "Stick a bunch of people in a house, people get killed and others go nuts, plot twist, the end" It was more like a generic slasher movie (though without much slashing, I suppose) than the first one, and was a bit disappointing overall, albeit it was pretty good compared to the average slasher.

What I don't understand is the "I'd like to play a game America" or something rather, it doesn't make sense. Is America somehow in this movie (Fictionally, of course) going to participate? Like a televised mass murder?
it's either Jigsaw terrorizing america to make them stop moping about and live their lives or a commercial ploy, to get people scared and excited about the movie. or someone is named america in the movies...there are people with the first name "America", right? think so at least...

People do have the name "America"; hence the main actress of "Ugly Betty" (America Ferraras).

I pride myself on being able to watch horror movies without freaking out... after seeing this one I was afraid to go into the bathroom by myself. But I did watch the entire movie without closing my eyes or covering them in some way :D

I didn't get to see past the first half hour >_<

I'd been experiencing dizziness for most of the day, and I ended up basically collapsing in the movie theatre, and then again at a band concert the day after. Got to love having B12 anaemia, iron deficiencies, and dangerously low blood pressure at times.

For the record, the collapsing had nothing to do with the movie :P I would have collapsed if it was a kiddy movie.

So I finally got around to watching this (Yeah, yeah, laugh at the person miles behind the times). My god it was cool!

I seriously had my doubts about this movie about half way through, but I held out thinking "It'll get better as the action increases"

And MY GOD! This has restored my faith in trilogies. Loved it!

The ending was so cool, not only did it cover the one thing that annoyed me in Saw I*, it fitted in so well and was another classic unexpected twist. Absolutely loved it!!

*SPOILER WARNING (Of 1, 2 and 3):

In Saw I, the key to the chains was kept in the water of the bath tub. That meant the moment Adam awoke an jerked up out of the water, he released the plug and the key went down the drain - destroying their chance of actually getting out without life-threatening harm of cutting off one of your feet and then dragging yourself through a sewer until you manage to find help.

This never fit with Jigsaw's persona of "Put them through a terrorfying experience - not necessarily involving injury (See: Reverse Bear Trap) - that makes them appreciate the life they've took for granted". It, and Saw II, seemed far too much like "Nyah nyah! You're gonna die!!" Which is not what Jigsaw stands for.

However, in Saw III, it delves into these events, and the cool new events that occur to explain this - and it does so in the coolest manner ever!

In short, LLLLOOOOOVVVVEEEEDDDD it!

(and why didn't anybody else comment on it - that ending is so worth commenting on! :P)

*laughs* So far behind! *laughs some more*

I forgot to even post about the movie... The ending was great, but I think that goes without saying as a huge plot twist near the end is to be expected. :P I guess there's not going to be a Saw 4 now? D:

I missed the first death, though (the one with the chains) because I started feeling ill, probably because all of the flashing lights and flashbacks and such (this was when they were talking about the death before they showed it). >_> I had to go to the restroom and missed that entire part of the movie. But I pieced it together from the rest of the movie and was correct on what happened. :P

Actually, Saw IV has been given the green light to be released in America around Halloween (it should explain the part where Jigsaw pours wax on a tape towards the end of Saw III as well as some other stuff probably centering around the Black SWAT Member). Additionally, there's rumours of a Saw V already.

Heaven knows how they're going to tackle the movies though - given the rather twisted ending of Saw III

Saw just keeps getting better.

Saw III had about three twists at the end, which was pretty awesome.
