I'm scared of heights...and spiders....and ladders. Not like if I see a ladder, I go crazy or anything. It's just that my whole life, whenever I've been on any type of ladder, I can never go higher than the second rung. I start to shake real bad and I get short of breath and I have to get off.
I'm also deathly afraid of dobermans. Bad experience when I was little *shivers*

Firstly there's the "Theory of Fear" which indicates that everyone shares one fear: time. But for those of you who haven't heard of it, I'm not going to bother to go into explaining it at the moment.
Secondly, my fears are generally unknown to my logic until they happen. I can not say I'm afraid of spiders, as I'm not, but if one would happen to bite me one day then that could change. Basically, I can't think of anything I'm afraid of, as I don't know fear except when I'm experiencing it.
...On a lower note, I'm claustrophobic.

I'm afraid of heights. Definately.
BUT I'll go on rides at the fair, regardless of height (ok, not the 500 ft. high one, happy?)

Ok, i'm not afraid of heights or death. My biggest fear would be stomache pains...I don't like them at all.

I've got a couple of fears, some weirder than others.
I have some weird fear of small sidewalks (seriously). Too close to the road, and I've heard stories of some pretty damn cray drivers. Hell, near my Grandparent's place, a guy was killed after a drunk driver drove onto the sidewalk.
I also get a feeling of foreboding whenever I'm near a moving truck. I think it's got something to do with this story a friend of mine told me about another friend of his, who was hit by a truck while riding his bike on a motorway. Head was wiped clean off...
Death is a fear most humans have. Most of my fears have something to do with death. It's like the ultimate fear. I mean, if we weren't scared of death, whats to stop us from all commiting suicide after getting a light scratch or an arguement? I'm also scared about what happens after death. Is there an afterlife, or do I just... stop living? The prospect of no afterlife is a big fear for me in a sense, and I have spent countless nights tossing and turning in bed whilst pondering the existance of a heaven and hell.
I'm not worried about death (since everyone has to die sometime), but I'm worried about what kind of death I will have. I'm scared of dying by impalement, burning, suffocation, disease, or anything painful or sudden.
I'm also a little scared of hights. I just get some weird sensation of wanting to just jump off, and even though I'm not stupid enough to do it, I get a weird feeling that someday, I might.
I also have a fear of getting into a serious fight with someone, but not really for my own safety. I'm just scared that my actions will seriously harm them, mentally or physically. A couple of years ago, some dude picked a fight with me, started giving me crap. I still remember it, and it sorta hurts you know. I've shaped up since then, but I just don't want others to feel the same way as I did. I'd hate to be a bully, you know?
And that abouts sums up my fears. A pretty long list, but hey, thats me

Well, after reading this, I can't really think of a fear.
Except what others pointed out, painful death. Any death where you have to suffer, that would be horrible.
I would like a death, when I die, that is short and over with quickly.

I'm afraid of being rejected by everyone around me, more than anything else. I'm not afraid of heights, bugs, or death, but the thought of not being liked by anyone sure bothers me. It used to bother me a lot in elementary school, not nearly as much anymore though.
Oh yes...and the fear of trying REALLY REALLY hard at something, only to get nothing for your efforts in return.

My two biggest fears are Spiders and being alone. I am afraid of ALL spiders, even the tiniest ones. They give me the creeps.. I've even had recent problems of hallucinating them :\
Being along has always been a fear of mine. Whether it be I will never have someone to spend the rest of my life with or I'd die alone or what. Just the idea of being alone for a long period of time gives me the willies -shudders- When I lived with my bf, he would work a shifts from like 6pm to 6am and I could not sleep alone without him. So basically I would stay awake until 6am or the sun came up and then go to sleep..

Well, my worst fear that I've had to deal with is my fear of heights (which, oddly enough faded for a week when I was going climbing in trees 60 feet up). My biggest fear however is probably being alone. Just the thought of having nobody around drives me batty.

possibly because they are described as being the source of all evil in egyptian mythos (apophis) or possibly because they can kill you before you feel pain.

i have to say big spiders and tarantulas. i also hate the feeling of being alone. i would hate if i was alone all my life and i hate being alone in a room on a night
