I can't say "panties" with a straight face. I really wish they had some other word for it since "underwear" isn't much better.

Im female and i dont hate the word panties but its not a word i really use myself. I usually use undies or knickers

It's much better. However, most people tend to think you're buying something naughty when you use that word. I tend to just stick with "underwear".
