I wouldn't exactly called famous but she is very well known in her field.

Donna Williams - popular author, singer, author and painter, for the Autie (Autism) friendly society. Has written a number of popular books including Nobody Nowhere.

Being Aspergers I got to know her as my psycologist a couple of years back. She is autistic herself but fine. I know her very well and still in contact with her.

Oh I've heard of her. I used to peek at my parents' books on how to not go crazy while raising mentally disabled kids. (They apparently aren't very helpful.) For the longest time, I wondered if she was the same Donna Williams from Neopets.

Met David Beckham when he came to play football in HK last Sunday.

Met Neopets' Adam Powell and Donna Williams when they came to the Hamleys store in London for a event there. I still have the Wocky from that event on the wall of my room.

Met Prince Charles in 1999 when he visited my college.

I met Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie when Brad (that's right, we're on a first name basis ) was shooting a film here.

I met former Prime Minister Paul Martin (Canadian political celebrity!) in a gas station on a reserve... it was so random.

I also met, from afar, Matthew Perry in New York. I can't remember where, exactly, because this was like, 4 years ago.

We had the band for Darren Hayes (a singer) stay at the hotel I used to work at. He stayed at a 5 star hotel, though XD

Apparently the hotel I'll be working at soon is where the Cirque de Soleil tour stays, though?

I met Richard Preston (author of the Hot Zone) at a book signing. Colin Powell spoke at my mom's graduation from community college in 1999 (one of his relatives was also graduating); he shook everyone's hands and posed for pics with all the graduates. I gave a tour of my university's educational garden to Barbara Kingsolver (author of the Poisonwood Bible and Animal, Vegetable, Miracle). Oh, and Ken Coffey (Redskins player) volunteered at my middle school -- I got his autograph (he was kind of like Lockhart), but I'm sure it was thrown out or recycled long ago...

Through my master's programs, I've met loads of people that I consider famous, but others might not: Jim Curran, Helene Gayle (CEO of CARE), Congressman John Lewis (youngest speaker at the March on Washington) and others...

Oh, and my brother was one of the plaintiffs in a case that went before the Supreme Court (he won) -- the case had to do with student activity fees and religious freedom/separation of church & state issues.

I met Anneliese Van Der Pool (Chelsea from That's So Raven) while she was starring as Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway in New York. My group took a picture with her but I never got a copy
