I walk to the bus stop (hah), then catch the bus. It takes around half an hour. It gets to college about 20 minutes early from when I actually start, and is always late to the actual bus stop by about 10 minutes. To get home, on Monday and Friday, I have to walk to the local train station and catch the bus from there. On a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, I can catch the bus from just outside the college, where it stops in the morning, as I have a later finish.

can bike if there is a place where i can put my bike, but since i don't a bike at this very moment what's the point?
Last year, I always had to walk to school, but sometimes I would get driven there if my dad went into work lateer than usual. My school was only 200m away from where I lived so it was kind of pointless but he was on his way to work alot of the time so it kind-of made sense.
For all of my lifetime before that though, I would take the bus. It's why I have no quaffs about taking a bus even though I know alot of people who do. I dont see what's wrong with it.....

I could ride a bike to some of my classes- but I don't know how to ride a bike ( minor roadblock y'see). So I normaly use the bus system that my college provides, especially because one of my classes next quarter is in a building 6 miles from my dorm- and in the ghetto ( a minor deterrent to walking).
I'm usually too lazy to walk to any of my classes, I take the bus even if it adds 20 minutes to the travel time.

I use the bus to get to work. It comes every 10 minutes and is always on time (I know, very strange), and the ride only takes about 12 minutes. Plus it brings me almost straight to my workplace's doorstep.
I love my country's bus system.

Bah my mom drives me.
I'd ride my bike but when you are trying to carry a trombone, a euphonium, and a bass guitar it doesn't work so well.

I take the bus in in the mornings. The bus drives right past my house after dropping the elementary students off, so I don't have to be out there 'til eight(although when I was in elementary school, I would have had to get on at 7:15. and we live a mile from the school. so my mom would drive me in every day xD). It's amazing. And the ride is only about 15 minutes long. On tuesdays I have skating, so my mom drives me in after that.
Coming home, I ride the bus on wednesdays and fridays. Kind of a pain, because my bus is always the last one there, so I have to wait there for a half hour, then 15 minutes stuck in traffic. Other days I have stuff after school- mondays and tuesdays my mom drives me home, thursdays I walk to the library(or mooch a ride off my friend), and get picked up from there.
Walking isn't really an option, because the school's about 6-7 miles away, and most of it's along highway. And I can't wake up that early.

-30 minute bus ride
OR
-parent drives. Usually this one, since I'm always two minutes too late in the morning.

For Uni, in London, it'll be walkable, but if I feel lazy I will tube or bus it.
Good lord I love the underground, all that order, all those people and their rules

The best thing is when you get drivers who have lost their patience a bit and start telling people off for not getting out of the way of the doors and things.

LOL. But you gotta love the buses. I mean, come one. They're
red.I walk 3 minutes to the bus stop and get the bus, 45 minutes there, an hour back.

When I'm at uni, I walk about 100 metres from my room to my classroom. Yay for living on campus, and a small campus at that.
As for work (which I'm doing for 6 months as an internship), I either drive which is 30-40 minutes, or I get the train (which is 5-10 minutes drive to the station, and then a 45 minute train trip). The train station is right opposite my hotel where I work though :3 Whether I drive or get the train depends on the time of day I start - have you ever tried to find cheap parking in the middle of the CBD at 12pm, for an 8 hour shift? Doesn't happen

I walk but if I feel lazy or wake up late (very easy to do when have to be up at 5.30AM. ><) I'll catch the bus.
