Have anyone of you changed your life overnight?

I've had it happen. I'll go to bed troubled about something and wake up with a solution. I think the brain keeps thinking about things we are really concerned about while we are sleeping.

Similar to the OP, although I don't write them down, when I say my nighttime prayers I think of all that I am thankful for, and there are many things, and people.

As far as the wording of the title of the thread, yes I have actually changed my life overnight. It was when my husband asked me to marry him. It was in the afternoon. We discussed marriage for a while, and I said I'd give him an answer in the morning, and we each went home. Naturally, I didn't sleep. Instead I pondered the implications of getting married- aligning my life with his for the rest of our lives, whether we had the same goals and the same priorities- by morning, my decision was made. As I said, it was my husband who asked.

That's a really interesting idea (the gratitude journal). I actually think I will try it. Maybe not every night, but who knows - I may get addicted (lol)

But hmm.. good question.
I won't go into specifics but - I believe that my life has changed overnight at least a dozen times. I'm usually very observant and so I notice pretty quickly when there's a difference/change (in anything, anyone or anywhere). I've been through a lot and i've seen a lot in the past few years... I think that my life changes often because everyone/everything around me has the ability to become different as well. A part of me will always change when a close friend becomes different in some way (be it a big or small difference). When the world constantly changes everyday, I can't expect myself to stay the same.

Yeah something someone did changed my life overnight. It was a very depressing time, but I got over it after a few weeks with some help and now I am better .
