Or you could accept that their isn't some kind of multi-level government conspiracy involving a wall that's got a fresh coat of paint on it and convincing the world it's wet when it's not...

But how many times have you seen a wet paint sign and it's a LIE? I've seen a lot of those in my time. And I only know that it's a lie because I questioned it.

I'm sure when it was posted, it most likely wasn't a lie, but it's easy to forget to take them down... I've seen ones posted for 2 weeks+ for a single coat.

Although that would be a pretty cool April Fools' joke, to randomly post wet paint signs in random places (toilet stalls, stair railings, bus stop benches, and things that are obviously not painted, like concrete benches or something) and seeing how people react...
