Turn 3 is over, and since Turn 4 doesn't end until Sunday night, I need something to keep you guys busy until then. Everyone was given $500 for superb battling, and one Pokemon was even defeated last turn. But anyway...

Gym Leader Fight

Roxanne

Geodude: Level 6
Nosepass: Level 7

Post here to try and attack one of the Gym Leader pokemon, using whatever attack you choose. Just post the attack you want to use and its target; you don't have to post the Pokemon who uses it. Bear in mind that things like switching and items won't take effect until later, so you're stuck with what you have right now.

If you attack a Gym Leader pokemon, it WILL hit back, to everyone who tries to attack it. Of course, if you kill it before it can, then you're fine. Everyone who gets a hit in against a Gym Leader pokemon will grow a level, provided it is defeated in the end. You also cannot attack more than once. Also, the people who deal the finishing blows will get special items and money.

Oh, and the store has stocked some better items:

Super Potion (Heals 80): $700
Great Ball: $600
Full Heal: $600

All of the old items are still there too.

Could you keep a running total of the players cash beside their name? In any case I'll buy a great ball. I have my Poochyena use Run away and switch out to Ditto, who uses Transform at Nosepass. (do I get to attack after transforming?)

My flight was late and it just got back not too long ago, so I'm going to have to further postpone the end of this turn :( Only until tomorrow afternoon though. A few things I want to go through though:

1. If you have a question about something, make sure you put it in the TITLE of the PM. I don't look at every individual PM until I start tabulating the results of the day, so you need to make sure I see it before then.

2. If you don't get a results PM from me, it could mean one of two things. A. It could mean nothing happened to you on that turn, or B. It could mean I forgot you. Either way, let me know so you can be sure. I don't think B has happened yet, because I've been pretty careful about this.

3. I'd LIKE it if you'd keep track of your own money and stats, but if you have a question about your current money, levels, attacks, or anything, feel free to ask, because I have all of that stuff stored in my computer, easily accessed. If you think I might not get on by then, you can always do the whole "If I have enough money to get this, I will, if not, I'll attack with this and so on and so on..."

4. When you use an attack PM, you do NOT need to include the Pokemon you're attacking, just the owner's username. It can be switched out, fainted, or other stuff, and you're really not saving me any work anyway (because I have all of that info on file).

5. If you send a PM after I've started tabulating results and sending out the results, it will NOT count towards that turn. It's too complicated to go back and change everything. The entire process of getting all of the info together takes 30 minutes plus, and I don't want to redo it all. As a general rule, get your PMs in by 8 PM NST. Tomorrow is the exception, because I'm doing it in the afternoon. Get them in by noon NST tomorrow.

Anyways, this has been a great game so far. Getting results together is a little tough, but I like that people are being active, strategizing, and using teamwork. Keep up the good work :D

Gym Leader Results

Here's how this works. The damage from every attack will have a chance of defeating the Gym Leader's Pokemon, which is increased based on the amount of damage done. This makes it more fair for the people who attack first, giving them a chance to deal a finishing strike.

Blk Mage's Plusle uses Quick Attack on Geodude. It does 10 damage, and doesn't kill Geodude. Geodude hits back with Rock Throw, and Plusle takes 20 damage.

Dracir's Lunatone uses Psybeam on Geodude. It does 40 damage, killing Geodude. Congrats! Dracir gets a Special Item and $600!

Anoohilator's Carvanha uses Water Pulse on Nosepass. It takes 80 damage! Nosepass is defeated. Noo gets $700 and a Special Item.

Remember, every Pokemon who landed a hit on either Gym Leader Pokemon will grow a level. The ones who never got there won't. Believe me, the next ones will be stronger too.

I'm sending out info right now. Update when I finish that, so stay tuned!

EDIT: Two big news items. One, boochiguildstaff has been kicked due to inactivity. Two, NEW WILD POKEMON:

Abra (Level 5) x2
10% catch rate

A Great Ball has 3X as much chance of catching as a normal Pokeball. Other than that, same rules apply. The Pokemon will remain until TWO of them have been caught.
