LA. Spiderman 2 doesn't let the player leap off of the tallest building in LA and go *splat*.

Final Fantasy 9, or the original E.T. game for Atari?

Sun Jan 29, 2006 9:06 pm

Good one. I vote ET since FF IX wins by one point due to being Final Fantasy related.

Flashback to the original NES. What's worse: playing a long game and not being able to save it (and without codes for different starting points in the game) or putting the cartridge in the console a million times until the game finally loads properly?

As a fan of original Mario and Duck Hunt, no saving is a big pain.

Tue Jan 31, 2006 12:09 am

Ewww...imagining both creeps me out. :P I would have to say that the hairy mouth issue is worse though since you could wax, shave, get electrolysis, or have laser hair removal for the body one.

What's worse: Hearing voices repeatedly sing your least favorite song or seeing characters from your least favorite movie follow you around?

Tue Jan 31, 2006 2:00 am

My least favorite movie is either Dumb and Dumber or Mr and Mrs Smith, and I like the acters in both, so the least favorite song is easily worse.

Tue Jan 31, 2006 7:13 pm

Worse: super-arrogent physicist that knows everything (no, wrong answer), or an ignorant fool that knows nothing? Choose wisely or face divine/quantum retribution.
