Well it's rewarding and fills you with a wonderfeul feeling when 1000 is reached, and I think it doesn't really affect anything, seeing as it's on NNV. I'm sure countless mods have seen it, and nothing seems to have happened yet *knock wood*[/b]

Don't really see what the problem is. I've seen stupid, pointless, and annoying posts outside of of NNV and they're not a big deal. Besides, using stupid, pointless, and annoying as words for the basis for what shouldn't be posted is vague as a distinct interpretation can not be expected. Anyway, it's the mods' job to post and decide what is what. Really, off-topic posts that are just griping about something are no better.

(I do agree that the quote towers aren't really needed though)
