Staring at Asha's clothing, she muttered quietly, "I can see why you did." In a louder tone, she pointed over to a door, slightly splintered and battered by still surviving. "There's extra clothes in there that were here when I came. You could change in to those if you'd like. And the bathroom's over there. Since both of us are going to be here for a bit, no use not being comfortable." Comfortable meaning not panicking with a large hole in the wall, debris on the floor, and a seriously large bill to come of course.

Asha came out of the closet wearing a modest dress, stockings and shoes. They were made of a decent beige material. It seemed to be a children-sized garment, but it fit her well due to her meager childhood. "Thanks," she simply said, smiling at the sky blue-clad stranger. "My name is Asha, if ya like formalities." The girl sat on the bed heavily and stretched again, this time quite comfortably.

"Renetta," she replied. "Newly declared High Geomancer of the Wind, as you could see. I wonder when the others are coming, " she remarked aloud, Staring up at the scratched ceiling, wondering how the rest looked. Maybe they would be nice, like Talim was.

Talim nodded at Deirdre's suggestion, "Perfect. You lead everyone there, I have to get some other people who I had to leave behind." With that, Talim raced out away from the snow covered sand. She had to get back to the hotel where Renetta and Asha had last been...

After ten minutes of running through snow filled streets and past panicing (sp?) people, she finally arrived. Racing up through the lobby she dashed down some hallways to their room. When she saw them both sitting in the room, she breathed a sigh of relief and slumped down against the door, "Thank the Goddess you're both still here."

"Why wouldn't we be?" she asked. "Did something go wrong?" with a slight mutter she added, "Again?" If wind could nearly total a room, imagine something like stone, ice, all the little nasties you get from natural disasters. "Are we set to go now?" she asked, not really noticing the exhaustion shown by Talim. Lost in thought, as usual.

[Xandra]

"Right, well, I suppose I'm stuck with you all now. Unless, of course, you've decided that you'd rather freeze to death than listen to me, in which case, good riddance. But if you'd rather not die, then come on."

[Fast-forward ten minutes...]

"Right-o, we're here," said Deirdre, stopping in front of a small townhouse.

Testing the handle of the front door, she groaned. "Locked. Well, obviously, it's not like she's in town. I completely forgot she had to leave this morning. Gah, wait one second, everyone."

She grabbed one of the garden chairs near the door and, standing on it, on tip-toe, groped blindly at the space above the door. "Aha! Here it is!" she cried, grabbing the key that had been hidden.

Unlocking the door and opening it, she let everyone in and, after closing the door behind the last person in, flipped on the light.

"Just follow me- don't trip over anything, I'm supposed to tidy up, but I haven't had any time to do so, yet. But first hang up your jackets or whatever on one of the hooks in the entrance, I'd rather not be yelled at for getting books wet," the Geomancer said as she weaved her way through the shelves and piles of books in the room, making her way towards a door behind the counter and cash register.

"If you want, you can make yourselves hot chocolate or something, the kitchen's right through the yellow door on the left back here, I'm going to go see if I can find some books on Geomancers. And maybe one that has details on how to get stupid wands out of your hand," she finished, muttering darkly as she glared at her hand, the driftwood still stuck fast.
